I woke up at 9:30am and did my morning chores: dishes, laundry, yelling at my little brother for being too loud, the usual. My friends and I decided to go get lunch at Top View at around 3:00 and so we left at around 2:40 and were seated promptly. I was at first worried our food might not be the typically great quality due to the fact that we arrive an hour before closing, but oh…was I wrong…
I hadn't eaten all day, which is pretty typical for me. I ordered Coffee. For food: corned beef hash skillet, eggs over easy, side of pancakes and shredded potatoes. It was.. perfect. Every bite was infused with my preference helping of Tabasco sauce, salt, and pepper. It was heaven. The food was hot, fresh, and ready to make me wonder why I’ve ever eaten at any other diner close by. The pancakes: fluffy, golden, nothing short of….delicious. My friend didn’t eat the pickle that came with his burger, so I ate it, and aside from that, my coffee must’ve been refilled at the perfect intervals for refilling approximately three times. I was experiencing what most mere mortals only get so many opportunities to experience: Ecstasy.
I’m a pretty small-framed lad, no more than 5 feet and 6 inches in height, and rather thin considering my copious eating habits. Needless to say, I was stuffed, and felt power like no other. When I arrived home, I relieved myself in the restroom, and then proceeded to boot Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice on my gaming laptop. What proceeded to happen was a Top View Fueled slaughter like no other. I killed the Demon of Hatred without using the finger whistle, and then finished up any missed mini-bosses in the endgame areas. After this, I went to the secret passage in the Ashina Reservoir, and fought Sword-Saint Isshin over, and over, and over, until finally, I had completed the game.
The meal I ate 8 hours prior to this victory was nothing short of incredible. It was the only meal I ate that day, and I went to bed with not even the slightest remnant tinge of a hunger pang. I was satisfied beyond what I thought possible. Thank...
