I first checked in on November 29th 2024 at this Sleep Inn..pick up a slight odor upon me enterning...yes the front was friendly check in to my room... Queen size bed...i first went up to check my room...didn't like to far down the hall way to walk to elevator.. change rooms...I noticed my bedding was wrinkles in second room...decided to take the room...ask the Mgr. do they have a push cart for luggage...he said someone has it...waiting never got one then he offer for someone service person could help me..I ask for a extra blanket..they had wrinkles sheets holes in extra blanket...and notice dirty nasty phone and in restroom there was humming going on All the time I was there...speak with the Mgr. Express that they don't have a presser to press the sheet, bedspread and pillow cases which is the bedding! I told him i don't know if the are pressed or not but they are Not wrinkled...So now I pay $300. For 3 days & nights.. A Full size bed "Not A Queen" as they stated and I have to pay a deposit..and for parking in the Hotel...over $300. dollars...so i complained and ask to speak with General Mgr..No this is not a 2. whatever star they hold this is "1" star if any start and not exceptable at All...so today I had to stay of of my room the 30mins while they clean it "more inconvenience" No service person speak English so it was difficult to communicate with...once I asked to speak with General Mgr. and told the Mgr. This was not acceptable for the money charged...a little better sheets, bedding, cleaned...humming is still humming in restroom..but I won't be back here again..Not acceptable for these prices....Yes they were friendly but this has nothing to do with the matter of have service is provided, doesn't make this stay right!...If you like this type of "Hotel" stay....My Choice would not be this Choice again Sleep Inn...

Don’t stay here. First, I want to mention that the employees were friendly and helpful, which is why they got the second star. The first star is because I was able to stay and sleep, meeting the bare minimum. No other stars will be given. When we arrived, the hallway smelled musty, and the place felt gloomy and very worn. The remote barely worked, and the shower leaked at the bottom, requiring us to constantly place towels that were soaked by the time all three of us finished showering—this was a daily issue. There was old food and dust bunnies under the beds. The breakfast was mediocre, offering waffles, bagels, toast, typical hotel eggs, sausage patties, yogurt, water, orange juice, and apple juice. There was no milk, cereal, hashbrowns, bacon, oatmeal, or anything else. The food was edible, with the waffles being the best tasting. We decided to eat elsewhere despite breakfast being included with the room. The air conditioner made a rattling noise, and there was a weed smell throughout the halls. They had no quarters for the laundry, so I had to visit two other nearby hotels (the Marriott had some). The laundry dryer stopped taking quarters, so I almost had to pack wet clothes. I had to spend about $4.50 in quarters to finally use the dryer once. They did reimburse me the $4.50, though. If you have a few extra bucks, go to another hotel. If you’re strapped for cash, this place will do, but just for sleeping.

Me and my baby girl stayed there Monday 10/23/2023 in room 102 I had a flight late Tuesday and it wasn’t to far from the airport horrible decision. When I got home I noticed my daughter had several bites on her hand took her to urgent care and they confirmed they were bed bug bites! My daughter is 1 and I’m pissed they haven’t called to even apologized for the incident! I called the hotel last week and have not heard back from a manager in regards to this situation. Be careful and please check bedding when staying in hotels! Thankfully we haven’t had issues since being home but bed bugs travel! UPDATE: it’s December 5th, 2023 and no one has reached out to me at that location to even apologize or even offer a refund I’ve called numerous times and could not speak to the manager. I Paid $100 for one night. There are better hotels in the area pay a little extra for better service and also not risking getting bitten by bed bugs or bringing them home. Thankfully we haven’t had problems since being home.

My husband and I come up to Chicago quite a bit from Louisville, KY. We love staying here. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. They have a nice breakfast in the morning. The staff keep it stocked and very clean. If you come in late you can walk over and make coffee or tea as it is open to use at anytime. I like to bring a couple of hot chocolate packets with me as I’m not a coffee or tea drinker. The rooms are clean and well stocked. The beds and bedding are amazingly comfortable. You can set the temperature in your room which I love! My husband and I are smokers but at no time did we feel like a bother going out to our car to smoke. We love that the shuttle picks up every 20 minutes or so. We take the shuttle to the midway airport and walk through to use the train. You can buy weekend passes which is great for us. We came during St. Patrick’s Day weekend and did the boat tour and some other fun things. So we don’t have to worry about traffic or parking. We also enjoy the restaurants near by (Coaches is yummy and just at the other hotel behind Sleep Inn & TGI Fridays right across the parking lot in case you have drinks you can just walk 2 minutes back to the hotel from either place also a great late night Mexican place right across the street that is YUMMY!!) along with shopping in case you forget something (Walmart, Target, Ross, Dollar Tree ect.) lol it’s a good area. I’ve never felt unsafe. We’ve got up at 2am and went to the Mexican place across the street to order food. We got our food then walked back across the street ate and ate in our room. Plenty of on site parking for no extra charge which a few hotels in “the midway circle” do charge which is outrageous. It’s literally a big horseshoe with 5-6 hotels and parking lots. So to change for that is wild even if only $20 bucks a night!! That adds up!! Sleep Inn has no charge for parking and no hidden fees! One thing… we are a Coke company family lol they only have Pepsi products in one vending machine that our $3.50 each. Also, ice machine is in the same area as the vending on the first floor but it was no big deal to grab our ice bucket and fill it up if we are making a few drinks in the room. Other than that the room comes with mini fridge and microwave. You basically get everything you would get at any other hotel in that area but half the price which is great for us because we could use that money for good dinners or activities. We will definitely continue to stay here! Don’t forget to tip the housekeeping and save a few bucks to tip the shuttle crew....

After our flight at midway was canceled we grabbed a room here and were very happy we did so!

Overall, the place is clean, staff is friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable, good location, free shuttle to midway and plentiful complimentary breakfast.

Our luggage had already made it to our destination so we were without basics, the front desk and housekeeper were more than happy to help us out with what we needed. Actually, every employee we encountered was very helpful and friendly.

The room (2 beds) was small but not claustrophobic. If this had been a longer stay the lack of in-room microwave and refrigerator would have made us pass up this location. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were so so so floppy. They just flattened out the minute you put your head on them. I had asked for extra at check-in because, well, hotel pillows usually suck. These however were definitely some of the worst I've encountered.

The bathroom is small and we had asked for a handicapped accessible room (not sure if what we had was one), my family member had a hard time in the restroom due to lack of safety bars. Again, for one night it wasn't a huge deal but would have been a deal breaker for a longer stay.

The free breakfast is what you would expect- pastries, bagels, egg & sausage, waffles, fruit & yogurt. Coffee, juice, & milk. The food items were fresh appropriately cold or hot. Several of the items were available early which was great. The dining area is small but comfortable.

The hotel, room, and grounds were well kept and the overall design of the place was very welcoming.

The free shuttle to and from the airport was great and definitely appreciated. I had a hard time finding information about the shuttle on their website though. I had to call and ask when it came and where to meet it. Would just be helpful if that information was easier to find.

There are several stores and restaurants in the area which, since we didn't have our luggage, was fantastic. There is a Walmart and Target within a reasonable walking distance (or if its freezing a quick Lyft ride away).

Overall, for a one night stay this place was great and affordable. For a longer stay we would look for more amenities but the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff made the...
