We will see if I update the review of this bad experience. First and foremost a delivery from a restaurant no more than 30 minutes should not take over 2 hours. The expected delivery time was 45 minutes. Okay I'm going to assume it will take an hour. Fair enough. So I call when 1:15 has passed. I'm told that it's on its way still and should arrive at any moment. I say, " okay thank you. You can. Go take care of other customers." She explained the kitchen was overwhelmed. Okay. So approximately 10 minutes passes and it's now 8:25. I receive a call back and I'm told the restaurant apologizes for the delay. The driver should again arrive within another 15 minutes. However I'm told there was an issue with the driver. It's now two hours later and I call. I'm told the driver is leaving just then... So I said at the end go ahead send the food we will see if it at least tastes good. Don't think I will.
It was the first night my fiancee went out while I stayed in post covid....

I started with the pozole, and it was everything you’d hope for in a comforting, hearty bowl of soup. The broth was rich and flavorful, the hominy perfectly tender, and the balance of spices hit just right—it felt like a warm hug for the soul.
Then came The Porker Sandwich, and wow—this is a next-level creation. Loaded with not one, not two, but three different types of bacon, it’s smoky, savory, and absolutely indulgent. The crunch and layers of flavor made every bite better than the last.
To top it all off, I washed it down with a Son of Juice IPA. It had just the right hoppy kick with a subtle fruity finish that paired perfectly with the bold flavors of the sandwich and the hearty pozole.
This meal was a flavor adventure from start to finish. Highly recommend stopping by and treating yourself—you...
Read moreI had the pleasure of meeting up with some of the Chicago Blues and watching the Chelsea game with them. The atmosphere is wonderful for the soccer fan, as they can get just about any game. Our server worked her butt off in the back room, as it was packed by the time our game was underway, and I was more than thrilled that she was able to get them to start the lunch menu half an hour earlier than usual, as I had placed an order for a burger running on Eastern time (pointed at my watch saying lunch started in 15 minutes when in fact lunch normally started at 11:30 CT). As for the burger itself, the meat was flavorful, and I had stuck with the standard veggie toppings even though I normally forgo those in favor of just BBQ and bacon. The beer selection is also top notch, with a plethora of craft brewers. For at least the moment, this is my favorite bar in Chicago, and I vow to return, especially for another...
