First time there, the place was in disarray but the food came out quickly. However, our make your own omelette was the driest and worst in memory, it was just a collection of dry ingredients that never came together and the pancakes were burnt so we sent them back. Second time, it took at least 5 mins for the server to come over and foreshadowed the rest of the visit. Our server was totally overwhelmed, the busboy was MIA and didnt bring us waters until 10 mins after we arrived. Our server took our orders, but seemed confused about what we wanted--2 stacks of pancakes, thats it--and we never saw her put them in, but she did leave the room so we assumed she used another terminal. Against our better judgment, we decided not to walk out, and 15 minutes later, after being offered Uber Eats by an insistent busboy, our server asked how we wanted our eggs..."were not getting eggs." "You are getting the house breakfast right?" "No, just pancakes, but, um, are you putting the order in right now?" "Oh no, no, its finished, im just..." and she turned and trailed off. 10 mind later, the runner walks to the doorway and encounters the server and hes confused and looking at the ticket and the server is exasperated and says to him "no es mio" meaning "its not mine" but the entire time im looking to my left right at them and they see me and she says "oh, right there". Ill cut this review short, but totally unorganized. Pancakes were slightly slightly burnt, but great this time nonetheless. Not...
Read moreUpdate 2023: returned today and had the week special Dieguito’s Benedicts which is an English muffin with veggies, fried chicken and poached eggs topped with jalapeños aioli. Each ingredient was delicious, but the combination needs some changes to be more practical. Benedicts were perfectly cooked but on top of a fried chicken it is too unstable and uneasy to eat. My egg fell on the table just when delivered:) I had no issues with that, I worked as a waiter and I know the challenge :) the second egg I had to separate myself since it was not possible to have it as a full sandwich. So I remembered that the eggs from Supreme Chorizo hash were also runny and would have been a good fit. Also the English muffin was hard to cut so i had to put some pressure and considering the construction is not “sturdy” it was hard to enjoy it as a whole but rather separate ingredients. Don’t get me wrong, I still loved the dish :) but that was my 2cents of opinion. The personnel is welcoming and efficient. Will return. Supreme Chorizo Hash is the best, for my personal taste is has everything it takes to even be a good breakfast or lunch. Size is huge, it also comes with toast or pancake which is also very tasty. My husband had a burito, it was mostly with egg, and I am not an egg lover 😇 the eggs in Chorizo hash blends in perfectly with...
Read moreGood food, (hence 3 stars and not 1 or 2) but sad to say won't be back to this location. Service was slow to start, and when the waiter did come to take our order he disagreed with what was stated on the menu and said that we were not allowed to order the pancake option as a side to an entree. We showed him what was written on the menu for that category of dishes, but he said the menu was wrong, so my friend gave up and got the fruit instead, which is not really what they wanted. I may have written this off as "fine, they need to update their menu", only I had just come to this same chain literally 2 days ago where I was allowed to choose the pancake option from that same category of entrees. Lastly, I may have been less upset about the 3% credit card surcharge if it had actually shown up on the screen where I viewed the total, added tips, and signed off on the total -- rather than it being a surprise extra free when I looked at the texted receipt. I'm guessing most customers don't even know they're being charged this fee unless they select the option of getting a copy of the receipt. Please change this practice. It's not a big deal, but customers...
