It’s the epitome of Chicago neighborhood bar. I’ve been coming here for almost 20 years. It’s changed, but manage to keep the charm. Wrigleyville North is the warm hug you don’t realize you needed. It’s close enough to Wrigley, but far enough to keep the tourists away. It’s mostly those of us who live in the neighborhood, either coming or going. Some are regulars, some semi regulars and some are hardly evers. The dog to people ratio tends to be almost equal on a good night. The beer is cold and the staff is kind. I hate when I go months forgetting it exists. I treasure the time I spend in here alone or even with company. It’s a true Chicago gem and staple. And to the person who I took a photo of you and your dog, sorry for posting it on the internet. It’s just the coolest photo ever.

First night in town and we stopped in here for drinks while we were exploring the neighborhood. Busy place but they quickly cleaned a table for us. Full bar so you can order whatever you want. Local beers available and friendly service. What else can you ask for in a local neighborhood bar?

Good prices, good customer service. One pool table in the back. If you like dive bars with no frills, this is your place. Also, the bartender gave me Girl Scout cookies to go with my beer...for free...what more could you want?

Stumbling upon Wrigleyville North in my neighborhood last year was like entering the closet to Narnia. Having gone to college in Alabama, this was the first taste of the south I had after moving to the Midwest, and by golly I felt like I had found 'my people'!

Rarely crowded, but always lively, Wrigley North is a hole in the wall in the best way possible. They have a live country band on the weekends that will sit and have a beer with you between their sets, and play pool or darts with the customers 'til the place shuts down around 2:00 a.m.

A great corner joint to start or end your night, Wrigley North only takes cash, so come prepared or visit their ATM located conveniently by the restrooms. The bar is a little off the beaten path from Wrigley Field, but anyone who stumbles upon it knows what a hidden gem...

My fiancé and I visited last weekend after a Cubs game . We decided to come back from our previous visit 3 years ago. Boy were we in for a surprise ! There was only one person working the bar, so I had to go order our drinks. There was another lady, we couldn’t tell if she worked there or was helping out the bartender, as she was enjoying taking shots with the patrons! I understand a lot of locals visit, we are from Michigan, but at least sell the same size shots to all customers. I couldn’t not believe what we were were sold to be considered a shot. More like a sewing thread spool size for $10. , where others receive much larger sizes. Well that was enough for us to leave. During our next trip to Chitown, we will find another friendly...
