Stumbling upon Wrigleyville North in my neighborhood last year was like entering the closet to Narnia. Having gone to college in Alabama, this was the first taste of the south I had after moving to the Midwest, and by golly I felt like I had found 'my people'!
Rarely crowded, but always lively, Wrigley North is a hole in the wall in the best way possible. They have a live country band on the weekends that will sit and have a beer with you between their sets, and play pool or darts with the customers 'til the place shuts down around 2:00 a.m.

I understand a lot of locals visit, we are from Michigan, but at least sell the same size shots to all customers. I couldn’t not believe what we were were sold to be considered a shot. More like a sewing thread spool size for $10. , where others receive much larger sizes. Well that was enough for us to leave. During our next trip to Chitown, we will find another friendly...
