When I first entered the establishment, I was quite impressed with the overall appearance. However, my initial positive impression quickly diminished as I felt unwelcome and uncomfortable. In particular, I noticed an employee named Alex the guy in the photo who seemed to deliberately make me wait while he was organizing his milks and other items. When he finally attended to me, he simply asked what I wanted without any further interaction or pleasantries.
After I paid for my order, I politely inquired about the Wi-Fi password, as I had been charged a service dine-in fee. I expected to receive the password since I had made a purchase and was entitled to use the Wi-Fi. However, Alex provided false information by stating that there was no Wi-Fi available, despite the fact that I could clearly see a girl using her computer at the establishment. It was evident that Alex was being intentionally unhelpful and unwilling to provide the Wi-Fi password.
While the coffee and pastry I ordered were satisfactory, the overall experience was disappointing. I will not be returning to this establishment in the future, despite its...
Read moreI visited this café yesterday. The interior is beautiful, and the food was tasty — but unfortunately, it’s quite overpriced.
What really disappointed me was the service. I came on Saturday around 3:30 PM and was the only customer in the whole café (a couple of people came later). I ordered a quiche and a croissant with coffee. The girl took my order and went to the kitchen, and then I waited about 15 minutes completely alone.
After several long minutes, I even had to walk up to the kitchen door and call out “hello” about five times just to get someone’s attention — which was really uncomfortable. No one had told me the food would take that long, otherwise I would’ve ordered something quicker, since I was on my way to work.
When she finally brought the quiche, she didn’t say a single word — no apology, no “enjoy your meal,” just an annoyed expression.
Beautiful café and tasty food, but the service and attitude completely ruined the experience. I won’t be...
Read moreI placed an order of 8 items (6 various croissants and 2 sandwiches) for pickup the evening before since I needed them first thing in the morning. Judging by the quality, I'm guessing they prepared our order the day before and just let it sit for hours. The baguette was hard and heavy as a brick. The croissant sandwich I got my friend was "okay." The croissants were not good. The almond croissant did not taste like almond and was soaking wet on the inside with melted butter. The plain croissant was okay but I've had much better in the city. It was a wholely disappointing and expensive experience for what was supposed to be a lovely treat for friends. Most of the items were uneaten.
I want to add, that if you look at my other reviews, I very rarely write negative ones. But when I would have been better off buying Trader Joe's frozen croissants for 2x the flavor and 1/4 the price, I think something...
