(UPDATE at the end) Went to this place looking for some bubble tea. They had some and while the prices are mildly high I expected that. About 7 to 8 dollars a drink. I decided I wanted a frozen peach bubble tea with coconut Boba. I ordered and was told they didn't have that on their screen so the guy taking the order made something up on the screen and decided to add tapioca boba to my order for 75 cents. I told him I didn't want that and just wanted the coconut so he added the coconut and decided to leave the tapioca. It was hard to hear him as he was mumbling under the sound of the blender in the background. I decided I didn't care that much and left it. I was then asked for a tip which I decided to give ($1) because he seemed like a decent guy. I ended up paying $9.31 for the drink. I then asked for a recept and they had to reset their system twice and the guy just said "do you reallyyy need that receipt, still never got a paper or text receipt. Then on top of that After waiting around 5 to 10 minutes I got my drink. It was yogurt milk and some peach blended up with no boba, tapioca or coconut. It was busy so I didn't go and complain but I would not go back or buy milk and peach for almost 10 dollars. Other people ordering seemed to have issues as well.
They responded to my review and hour after I posted it saying that they apologize and are willing to do a refund on my order and to reach out at this number and an email. I texted the number and never got a response. They also deleted there response which was only there to make them look better instead of actually wanting to make it right. Read moreIt's not as if this is a place you go to get unrivaled customer service and have 5 star froyo. It's self serve and mediocre, but tasty and convenient, so it's just fine. I even tell people to go and still go there myself. No better or worse than forever yogurt. But I was forced to pay (and could not swap out) clearly rancid, sour smelly liquidy froyo twice. Plus another time was just water and some white stuff. They will not let you swap rancid froyo. You just pay and toss it out and if you want you buy another. Forget about a refund you can't do anything about it even if it smells like sour milk or discolored.
For example, the employee was like "oh shoot is that the cake batter? Yeah that's not something you want to eat." And I paid already and was like yeah that's weird to say to me now and it is awful, so can I just swap it out? And he stated the owner would fire him if he saw on camera I threw my froyo out got a new one and didn't pay for new one too. I wasn't even asking for a refund.
The other time I got a soupy cup of rancid milk and again was like "hey, can I grab a new cup and just fill with a non health code violated cup?" To which the same answer was given. So I'm not rating it 1 star because I go all the time and convenient. But I have had two very clearly rancid froyos with an employee witness and couldn't even exchange it. So it's a bit like playing the lottery but with better odds. Certainly yogurt goes bad but please keep it from doing so. There were several new flavors I'd never tried before so I asked for sample cups and was given 2. I wanted to try one more before I made my final decision and asked for 1 more. Before the girl behind the counter handed it to me she said rudely with an unnatural glare "Are you going to buy anything? " I was rather stunned and relied, "I usually do."
