The good: Hits the feels pretty good. Toys from every generation, from vintage sports figures, Simpsons, Transformers, Star Wars, to Doctor Who, LOTR, and the Walking Dead. You'll be hard pressed to not find something to walk out with. And, the prices are friendly for any consumer. I bought 4 figurines for under $20. Or, you could spend $100's on pricier items if you wish. The dis-organized chaos of the toys is honestly appealing to me. It's like going on a treasure hunt, you don't know what you'll find. Service was super friendly, and he played great music.

The not-so-good: Get's a little cramped when there are other people in the store, but that's also part of the charm. You're just overwhelmed with toys and stuff. Wish there would have been more various genres, 75% seemed to be Star Wars and comic book...

Quake is a Chicago treasure, and is the best option in the city for your collectible toy needs. Dave, the shop’s proprietor, has a great selection of vintage and new toys ranging from 50s/60s to now. Always furnished with a heathy new selection of Marvel Legends, WWE and other wrestling “figs”, transformers, NECA, and any other representative plastic object. Basically anything that has a Facebook toy group associated with it, Dave has it. His stock is always changing, as he buys and sells at fair prices. I can’t count how many times I’ve got rare items for a fair price from Quake. As evidence of what I’ve said, Dave has been selling toys to Chicagoans for 30 years today! ...

This place is great! If you're a toy collector you should definitely add this place to your list of shops to visit. This store is filled with great stuff from wall to wall and ceiling to floor. Prices are always fair! It's a place for anyone and everyone. The store owner Dave is one of the nicest, most humble, down to earth people you'll ever meet. His knowledge of everything toy related is unparalleled. I love this place and the people I've met here. You've hear of people say "this restaurant has a home vibe or feel when I visit".
