Mr. Shawarma — Restaurant in Lake View Township

Excellent food. I stopped by to do my laundry (much better coin laundry than other locals) and was hungry. Mr. Shawarma is right next to the coin laundry, so I stopped in.

I first ordered the fattoush salad, thinking I need to eat some vegetables. After I finished it, I checked on my laundry and still had the flavor of lemon and olive oil in my mouth.

I decided I was still hungry. Came back and ordered the beef shawarma sandwich. It was delicious. I generally don't eat meat. But, it was well worth it.

Awesome place for middle Eastren food. They just opened so I went to check them out and it was a delightful experience. I ordered a plate of chicken shawarma and a plate of hummus, it was delicious. I highly recommend this place since they just open and I like to support local businesses. I like how’s everyone is wearing masks and place looks really clean. This place has decent/ok food, but compared to other places it is lacking. If you go to other places for kebab (example falafel and grill) they will give you a plate of hummus, naan, a plate of salad along with your main course of rice + kebab. This place charges more money, but does not include hummus and half of your main plate is salad. You have to ask for garlic and hot sauce and they also do not provide water unless you want to pay for a bottle. This plate was over $20 and other places will give you much more for...
