Stumbled on it on Happy Cow app, I guess it's pretty new place, since I haven't heard of it. Went on a friday night, it wasn't too busy, but more people were coming in while I ate. It had a casual approach (you order at the counter, but they bring you your food), but still feels like a restaurant, and not like a fast food joint. The food came out very fast, I put my stuff down, went to the bathroom, they brought complimentary chips for the table, and I barely started on the chips and the food was ready. Got taco dinners, with 3 different tacos, cause you can mix. Carnitas was definitely best, then mushroom taco, and least favorite was chorizo and potato (I might have been pretty full by then too). Girl at the counter and server were really nice. I really had no complaints about anything. Will come back to try more, cause menu...
Read moreWhat a wonderful experience! Loved the cute outdoor patio area with the pink picnic tables. Enjoyed the soup, the Carnitas flautas/taquitos that aren’t on the menu, (but are hoping to come back) the burrito with Barbacoa, and the most amazing margarita. I cannot say enough about those Carnitas flautas/taquitos. They were some of the best I have ever had and I grew up in Southern California eating traditional Mexican food all the time. They were so good that we had to put in another order. I do not know what they put in there, but I am like craving them and need them again in my life very very soon. The soup was also very delicious & homemade goodness. Perfect for a cool day or if you're not feeling well. But just any time really! We also had excellent service and we cannot wait to be back. Such a wonderful addition to the...
Read moreTacos were SO flavorful, wonderfully cooked, and totally delicious. I happened to come in on an evening when the owner was passing out samples of the horchata and asking for feedback on the recipe, which was fun. The patio was cute and cozy. They were super patient with my allergy questions (nuts, wheat), and my marg was yummy. For three tacos (no sides), a house marg, and a second glass of horchata, plus tip, it came out to about $40. Not cheap for tacos, but a reasonable price for specialty vegan/gf food. All the serving staff were kind and seemed pretty happy to be there, so I hope the pricing includes fair wages, which I’m totally willing to pay for. I already plan to go back...
