So this is not something that I usually donât do, as I work in customer service, however the service I received tonight was absolutely outrageous and unacceptable. I ordered my pizza at 10 PM and waited until 11:15 for it to arrive; not a big deal. The problem was that the delivery driver called me to say that he was here and then, instead of coming to the door and ringing the buzzer, he blew his horn outside of my house, and when I asked the driver to stop honking he continued to honk and said âCan you not hear this? Where are you? I'm honking so you can tell where I am!â He then proceeded to lecture me about how my numbers should be more properly displayed on my apartment building, and after he finally gave me my food, handed me a receipt. He said, "Everything was done online. Thank you." and walked away. I looked at my receipt and I noticed that it totaled $30, even though the order totaled $25 and I hadn't added a tip to the order, which means someone changed the tip without my permission at the store. I also ordered my pizza Chicago cut and without numerous toppings and, not only was the pizza not Chicago cut (again not the end of the world), but it also had toppings I asked not to be on the pizza. On top of all that, I asked for the pizza to be cooked well-done and instead it arrived under-cooked. I called the store to ask about the 5 dollar difference on the check and also to give some feedback about my experience and the store representative then told me that she could send me a screenshot to prove I had done the tip at the time of the order.At the time, I thought it was not a big deal, she offered to give me a free pizza, and hung up. Afterwards I started thinking about the online tip; I looked on my receipt in my email and it reflected that I had not, in fact, added any tip to the order. Ordered a simple large pizza at 11:14 p.m. Was given a 30-45 minute delivery estimate- fine. After an hour of waiting, we called the store and spoke to an employee who told us the order had been outsourced to a Doordash driver due to a lack of drivers at the store. When checking the status of our order, they asked for the phone number. Apparently, they had entered our number incorrectly on the Doordash app and the driver was therefore unable to contact us. She offered sincere apologies and promised to send us out a new pizza + a free desert at maximum priority. We were very understanding, we all work in the service industry- it happens. However, after another hour of waiting, we call back. We were placed on hold for 20 mins. Finally, we get to speak to a staff member. I tell her the situation, and she checks the system. When she returns to the call, she claimed that the previous employee (who is now presumably clocked out) never informed her of the outgoing order and that we would have to wait another hour and a half (on top of the 2 hrs we had already waited) to receive our order. At this point, we had already been waiting over 2 hrs and just wanted our money back. She abliged, with ample attitude, and offered no sort of compensation for the ridiculous inconvenience that this establishment and staff caused us. NEVER ORDER FROM HERE! As previously mentioned, we all work in the service industry, we understand human mistakes- what we do not understand is flat out negligence and lack of care for company 'policy'. I called the second time and waited a long time for an answer, but when they took the phone and answered, I asked if I could make an order ?! the girl answered yes you can, I started making my order and heard a negative tone in response, like ,,whaaat????,, I repeated again my order but in response I heard another displeased tone ,,whaaat...???? And I try again repeated..., but she is didnât listen to me and canceled my phone call. After that I think maybe something wrong with her phone, and try call again, but no answer.., I think maybe super busy, and calling again.., and I heard the man answer, he said stay in line. I think ok, maybe pizzeria busy and stay in line. But waiting my call again canceling.
