We walk in and Sarah says "it smells good in here". There is only one way to start a Chicago pizza experience and that is with a light beer and a salad. We decide on the Antipasto Salad which is basically a charcuterie board in a salad format. So obviously, yum yum yum. I was feeling a Margherita Pizza mood, however, I was slightly debilitated on deciding if the red onion that is advertised on this pizza would counteract the deliciousness of the za. Never in my life have I been so wrong. Number one, I am renaming this a Bruschetta Pizza because all of the traditional bruschetta toppings are diced and sprinkled on this pizza. Making the red onion effect so minor. I am very into this flavor, and the crust is so thin and crackery I barely count it as calories and am pretty sure I can finish the entire pizza if I put my heart and soul into it. Service could be so much more enticing to tourists and Chicago locals if they were to talk about the history and how they make the pizza. Chicago locals know this place, but I feel if they wanted to they could really amp up the history to make Pat's name more well-known.

We had the best Italian dinner experience at Pat’s Pizza! Let me just start with the calamari — the fried version was perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and tender on the inside, with just the right amount of breading. Paired with their delicious marinara sauce, it was an amazing start to the meal. But the real standout? The grilled calamari. Absolutely next level — packed with flavor and served in a sauce so good I had to order brown bread just to soak up every last drop. The bread came out fresh, piping hot, and the butter they serve with it? To. Die. For. Don’t skip it — start your meal with that combo and thank me later. We also ordered a medium pizza, half “pack special” (sausage, green peppers, mushrooms) and half pepperoni — just the right size for a family of four. Great crust, great flavor, and it really hit the spot. The place itself is charming, cozy, and the service was warm and attentive. I’ve officially found my spot for a relaxed, satisfying Italian dinner with the fam. Can’t wait to come back!

We started with a quarto formagi pizza that had such a nice delect blend of ricotta, parmesan, gorgonzola, mozzarella and garlic. Cracker thin crust as well. The pepperoni pizza was amazing. No frills, just you, the salty savory pepperoni, and the perfectly burnt cheese. For our mains we did two appetizer portions of the pumpkin ravioli. These were sweet, and had a nice creamy texture with the pumpkin essence. The rigatoni alla mozzarella was a nice break between the white pastas, and hit the spot with the Malbec. my favorite pasta of the evening was the gnocchi and prosciutto pasta. Ultra creamy too, and the gnocchi were perfect, an amazing duo with the prosciutto. Dessert we had to do the tiramisu. Creamy mascarpone, and that light espresso flavor. Loved this spot, give them a try.

This is an adorable place. However, our experience was not adorable. We picked Pat's, previously unknown to us, because The Apollo Theater's website mentored them and said that they offer 10% off if you mention you're going to the Apollo (they don't honor that deal). We were seated quickly and offered a drink. After sitting with a soda for about 10-15 minutes, we finally had to ask another server to order as our server hadn't returned. Our order was given, and I quote, "we'll have the mozzarella sticks, she'll have the large Caesar salad with chicken and I'll have the pasta carbonara". We promptly got the sticks and the salad 5'ish minutes later. No pasta. After waiting and watching my daughter eat for literally 15 minutes, the waitress finally came back and asked how everything was, to which I replied "it would be better if I had my meal" She said, "well, we bring the salad out first". And I said, "but it's her meal and we wanted to eat together". Her response was, "well you didn't specify". Um, okay? So, my pasta comes out about 5 minutes later. Pasta Carbonara is my absolute favorite meal, but not this one. It was loaded with bacon which sounds good, but it was completely undercooked. I don't know if they rushed it out because of it taking so long, but I'm actually not sure the bacon was cooked at all and was concerned enough that I didn't eat any of it. I ate a few forkfulls of the pasta and left the rest and didn't take it home. I did tell another server when he asked, but nothing came of it. Our server finally came back, we paid and left. Extremely...

We have been loyal customers of Pat’s Pizza for four years, ordering from them every single week. Unfortunately, their consistent issue with late deliveries has finally pushed us to write this review. While we’ve been patient with delays in the past, there is a big difference between being 15 minutes late and over an hour late. Our most recent experience was unacceptable. We placed an order at 6:00 PM for a pizza, pasta, and eggplant. By 8:15 PM, the food still hadn't arrived, so we called for an update. Instead of getting a straight answer, we were told nothing about an issue. At 8:45 PM—still no food, no call from them. When we called again, they suddenly informed us there had been a problem with the order and that they could remake the pizza and deliver it in 30 minutes. At this point, we were just frustrated and hungry. If they knew there was an issue when we called at 8:15 PM, why didn’t they say anything then? Instead, we were left waiting even longer. Their solution? If we didn’t want to wait another 30 minutes, they would offer a $25 credit. This is not how you treat loyal customers who have supported your business for years. The lack of communication and care for customers’ time is simply ridiculous. If you’re looking for reliable delivery, Pat’s Pizza is NOT the place...

Pat's has some of the best tavern style thin crust pizza anywhere in the Chicagoland area. Tonight we decided to dine-in for the first time since we moved to the city in 2019, and that was a mistake. We arrived around 5:15pm to a handful of empty tables with no wait staff out front. A Patron told us it's seat yourself so we sat down. That's when things started to go downhill....with a constant stream of staff walking by us and other tables starting to fill up it took 15-20 minutes for someone to acknowledge we were sitting at a table and at least 10 minutes after people who arrived after us had placed an order. We debated whether to mention this and finally a server arrived to take our order. A glass of wine, salad for the table and two smaller pizzas and off she went. 25 minutes later the pizza arrived but the salad was nowhere in sight. Halfway through the pizza the salad arrived but the dressing made the salad uneatable. The pizza was quite good. For all the staff running back and forth the service was miserable. We might order a pizza to-go but as for dining in I think the owners are having trouble hiring competent people to serve what looks like an...
