What a fantastic little place this is! They’ve recently changed their name and revamped their concept, but it’s the same owners and the same great tasting food. They’ve added cocktails to their menu and I had a hard time deciding what to order because they all sounded good. My favorites are the spicy watermelon and the al pastor margarita (yes, you read that right…it’s outstanding!). The little details too are what I appreciate. They make almost everything in-house, and the chef repurposes everything he can, even using the rind of the watermelons to make candy. Reasonable prices and a quaint atmosphere. You really can’t go wrong here!

This family owned restaurant gave us a nice experience, The food was so tasty ( They have vegetarian options for the tacos sweet potatoes and cauliflower (I loved it) and the cocktails were unique ( they make their own syrups and dry their own fruit ) The customer service was incredible. We had the opportunity to be attending for Luis that explained to us a little bit about the food, cocktails, and restaurant.

Delicious, family friendly restaurant. They were helpful with checking ingredients for food allergies. We really loved the mole tacos, and everything we ate was good. They do a really good job of distributing the cheese on the nachos (although the nachos are a little pricey at over $6). My only warning is to bring a sweater, both times we've been here it has been uncomfortably cold (both outside and in).

Stop letting the public use your bathrooms !!! I wanted to like this place so bad but everytime I started liking one thing , it was overshadowed by another . Went here off a recommendation from a friend . The menu was very limited but not bad . We ordered all their tacos which were delicious minus the fish taco which was average in my opinion . I don't understand what the vibe is supposed to be here . There was no music to enjoy and the service was slow . The female server that attended to us was painfully slow and we were the only ones in there besides what looked like their friends at the bar . She completely paid no attention to us and decided it was happy hour at the bar while her friends were there . My GF and I were having a hard time comprehending why the service was as bad and as slow as it was given that we're the only customers there . Meanwhile as we are finally enjoying our cocktails , the bathroom became a public restroom for anyone coming off the street to use it . There were several shady characters coming in and out of the place that appeared to be drunk and inebriated from who knows what . Most of them appeared to be friends of the two servers there . Apparently , the servers friends were allowed to order pizza and enjoy outside food at their discretion inside the restaurant. They were having a jolly good time . Luckily, the female server ended up finishing her shift ( or at least it appeared that way ) and the male server that was there took over . He was nice and attentive. I unfortunately never caught both of their names . Needless to say , if it wasn't for the male server , I would have rated this place no stars if possible . Definitely won't be back . The food and cocktails were very good and that's the only reason why I gave...

I think it has great potential OR maybe they’re on the decline? Caveat I’m a first gen Mexican.

Pros: love the vibe, music. Love the tortillas on the tacos. Yum! The cashier was super pleasant and genuine.

Cons: what I ordered (maybe it was an off day?)

Got some steak tacos And a steak quesadilla. Maybe this was a bad batch of meat but it had virtually no flavor other than the taste of maybe freshly thawed unseasoned beef. Pretty unpleasant. Do you marinate your steak? Is it grilled fresh? Taste test? Feels like possibly not. I ate it all because I’m super hungry. I added tons of salsa to get some flavor and hide that weird beef flavor. Quesadilla was the same. The star was the steak I added but unfortunately it tasted just like the tacos so I added salsa, cilantro, and onion to enjoy it. The steak is so important!

Margaritas are very simple : tequila, agave, lime, triple sec. With the right portions it’s magic. This one tasted not sweet, not sour, just like watered down...

We came here once when they first opened, and I thought it was just ok. The kids loved it for some reason and ask to go back whenever we drive by. So today we finally went back. The girl who took our order seemed at best indiferent to our existence, and then started lecturing me on the use of esquites vs elote.

Then a few minutes later, came to our table -- not with the Horchata we had ordered but to continue correcting us on the right word for corn.

And then the food. Again, I am not Mexican, so I cannot speak to the authenticity of the food, but I can say it was terrible--even worse than I remembered. They used grated yellow and white supermarket cheese on the mushroom tacos, the sweet potatoes were dry little cubes, and the ESQUITES were just lukewarm frozen corn with cotija and mayo on top. Could not...
