Xurro — Restaurant in Lake View Township

My family and I have been buying from Xurro Churro Factory. We were introduce to this place from a variety of friends and liked it since. Menu selections are good and tasteful. On the other hand, customer service is only to satisfactory. My husband and I bought a dozen Churros to share for our daughter's class as a Halloween treat. We asked to cut it in 3 pieces. Their churros are long enough to cut in 3 pieces as our friend has always done it that way at the Armitage location to share for parties. We started to request to get it cut to share with friends or when we have large gatherings with no problem. Lincoln location-The lady made a big fuss about it and said she will only do it this one time as a courtesy. She said they don't do that and they only cut it in half. I ordered Xurro online from the Lincoln location and asked for a dozen churros: 2 chocolate, 4 cream cheese, 3 vanilla and 3 strawberry; along with 2 horchata milkshakes. The milkshakes were placed on their sides in the bag & when taking them out they were not even filled all the way - they were filled about half & the rest was whipped cream (thankfully didn't spill in the bag but they were MADE that way). Also the churros were HALF chocolate. If you're out of a flavor, it's common courtesy to reach out to the customer & let them know OR just cancel the order so we can replace. My girlfriend doesn't like chocolate, so replacing half the order with chocolate defeated the purpose of getting them for her. This is the 3rd time and order from here has been mixed up or...

The service at the lakeview location wasn’t just bad or slow it was scary. Not one person washed their hands, girl with long hair had a messy (dirty looking) ponytail and wasn’t wearing a hair net or a hat. Gentleman behind the counter was asked for a funnel cake sundae to go (90 degree weather) and I asked for the ice cream to be placed in a separate cup (so as not to melt completely and make the funnel cake soggy) and instead of making it a non issue I was told that they “cant just be wasting cups” and was charged an extra .35 for the cup! The churros were tasteless and the service made the experience worse! Needless to say I will not be returning and couldn’t even refer anyone...
