From the outside this pie-shaped shop on a busy 6-way corner looks like it belongs in a suburban strip mall — not terribly inviting. But inside it’s wonderful. Bright and modern; great mix of colors, hard/soft surfaces and decor; cool use of space, lines and design; soft female singer indie folk/pop background music. Lots of really nice places to sit too: at the counter, looking out the huge windows, on couches, cute tables and chairs — there’s even a small semi-private conference room. Read moreI really like Vigo coffee. First, their drinks taste good. That’s important. Second, they do not charge extra for alternate milk selections. I just prefer the taste of oat milk so it’s nice not to pay a dollar extra like other places. Third, they have pictures of dogs all over the walls! Fourth, it’s an inviting place to study with a lot of natural light and a decent amount of seating for the size of the shop. Fifth, they let me use a reusable cup so I can cut my plastic waste down a bit.

I only payed about 6 bucks for a 16oz iced latte. In Chicago, that’s amazing!
Thanks for the tatsy coffee beverage,...

Paired it with a chocolate orange brioche, which was flaky and had this zesty kick that balanced the richness. The space is bright with big windows, making it ideal for working or people-watching. They even have a semi-private conference room you can reserve for free, which is clutch for meetings or focused work sessions. The staff is super friendly and clearly passionate about their craft. All in all, I spent around $10, and it was worth...
