McDonald's — Restaurant in Lake Wales

For my most recent experience, the food was ok, but when we got home we found out that they had forgot a Big Mac in our order (but somehow remembered the fries and drink in the combo). Also, and arguably more important, we asked specifically for no pickles on the burgers. The ticket even said no pickles, but guess what? They all had pickles. I know most adults don't care, but its a big deal for kids. We've had many other bad experiences in the past. I wish I had taken time to review them. Messing up orders seems to be their specialty. And there was another instance where an employee and a manager argued with us over our drink order. Customers should never have to argue. Its pretty obvious upon observing the employees that they don't really care about their job in general. I would suggest that they don't have the leadership necessary to really make this a good McDonald's location. Will we stop here again? Absolutely.. its super convenient and most of the time the food is ok. I just wish employees would actually take some pride in what they do.

Side note- if you care about masks, don't go here. The employees tend to wear them below their noses, rendering them entirely useless. Fortunately I don't really care and I don't blame them. It has to be so uncomfortable wearing them for so long. And at least the dining room is open. I personally applaud...

I was in the drive thru an when I got to the first window to pay for my order, they had me pay for someone else's order. I get to the 2nd window an I tell them that's not what I ordered an apparently I paid more than I should've so they offered to give me food in exchange for the money. But all the things I wanted they were higher priced than what they owed me. Finally they give me a McChicken but they tell me to move forward to the 3rd window for my actual order. I waited over 15 minutes an no one came to give me my food. I went inside to grab my food an of course they forgot all about me an my daughter's hash browns weren't even hot, they were barely warm. That's the worst service I've ever had at any McDonald's in my life. I've been to this same drive thru before an a younger girl working the window was absolutely rude to me, she had this attitude with such a mean look on her face. I thought to myself she's just having a bad day, but I was her a few more times in the window an I had the same experience with her. Not all my experiences were like this, but I definitely think they need employees who are there to work an not bring their personal...

I’ve visited this McDonald’s location many times and my experience with them was mild. It’s McDonald’s, a fast food chain not fine dining. This is one of the most busiest McDonald’s in town. The food is alright(what do you expect?), the atmosphere isn’t flashy(quite bland with mostly brown), and the service depends how busy employees are able to help you(so obviously you got to be patient, no matter what). The employees are nice and helpful when ordering from the menu, just be respectful to them. What I can’t stand is the long lines both at the dining room and the drive thru.
