The worst restaurant experience you will come across. The food was fairly disgusting, and the customer service was the complete opposite of what any business with food this bad should be providing. The customer service was far more disgusting than any food.
I ordered food to go. When I got home, I found out that the order they had given me was incorrect. Somebody else’s order. So I go all the way back there, and give them back the incorrect order that was given to me. Any legitimate business would have remade my order for me, and even gave me something extra for the inconvenience. At the very least, never ever give the customer the same order that had been sitting there since the customer first placed it nearly an hour ago. Which is exactly what they did.
I was actually going to just take it, and leave no worries. However, the guy started getting really nasty with me. First he tried to say the whole thing was my fault. Which makes absolutely no sense. Then he began putting his hand towards my face while I was talking, turning his back, cutting me off from even speaking, telling me to leave, etc. Basic simple things that no legitimate business would do to any customer no matter what. These are things that nobody should be doing in any conversation period much less in any customer service interaction.
As a result, I asked for my money back. They refused to give me my money back. I ended up eating it. It was disgusting & I got really sick.
Any other business would have compensated the customer for inconvenience of having to take wrong order all the way home, and bring it back. In my own business, I don’t hesitate to compensate my customers for any inconvenience or dissatisfaction. Any other place wouldn’t have the audacity to allow the customer to even leave with the same stale order. A brand new order would have immediately been prepared for the customer without question.
The obnoxious guy kept saying I was taking advantage of American system. WTF???????? How so? Because I asked for my money back only after he behaved extremely nasty towards me? It has nothing to do with America. If anybody wants a good simple tip of gaining and retaining customers, all you have to do is treat them the exact opposite of how this dump treats their customers. This place is truly garbage. Their food is garbage. Their attitude is garbage. You couldn’t pay me to come here.
Like I said, if he simply would have just been nice about it, and sincerely apologized for the inconvenience they caused me, I would have just taken my old order, departed, and not returned without a problem. Instead, I’m taking some time to post here for the good of the public and humankind. If you care about yourself and your loved ones, do yourself a huge favor, and avoid this place like a plague. Read moreThis was my favorite place to go for tacos for years... my opinion better than everywhere else... last few times I’ve went has been extremely disappointing... either I get home and my tacos are thrown together with meat all over the box instead of inside the tortilla like they just threw it in a box and shook it up before they gave it to me. Tonight I went.. and from start to finish a complete mess... first the phone call took me 10 minutes to order a burrito and 3 tacos...they couldn’t understand what I was saying ... then they tell me 15-20.. I come in 25 and had to wait another 15 minutes ( there was only 10 people in the restaurant)... I paid and went outside, when I went back in they had no record of me paying and the guy that rang me up was saying he doesn’t remember.. it was literally 10 minutes and only saw 2 other people... they ended up giving me the food... I get home and every item was only half way done... the burrito had no pico and no guacamole, the lengua taco was just the meat, the carne Asade looks like ground meat and had no guacamole, and the worst was the shrimp taco... 3 shrimp with a glob of mayo! No toppings at all! .. so not only are the cooks incompetent but the expo is also... to have multiple people look at the food and send it out is insane... obviously they made a bunch of money and all the owners and managers that got it started stopped caring... I had previously recommended lupitas as a decent option for Mexican food in the area, but as of my most recent visit I will no longer be giving them my business. I went there to eat on a Saturday morning and ordered breakfast. After waiting about 20 minutes, I began to notice that they were serving other guests who had ordered long after I had. I asked the girl at the counter and she told me my food was almost ready. So I sat back down and waited another 5 minutes. I went back to the counter and asked again. They said it was almost ready. By this point, at least 10 other parties had ordered after me and received their food. The girl at the counter went back to the kitchen and then told me they were going to start making my food and it would be ready in 5 minutes. After I had already brought it to their attention they still hadn't even started making my food. So I told them to give me my money back and brought it to the manager's attention. His response was to inform me that they were short staffed. Then when I explained that many other guests had ordered after me and had already received their food, he rudely said that they had already given me my money back and I was free to leave. He needn't worry, I left and won't be back. The date of this transaction was 12/9/17...
