Lake Worth Beach City Library — Attraction in Lake Worth Beach

I have never been to this library because these hours are a complete joke! As someone who loves the library and reading but also works a JOB I cannot come here because they are only open Monday, Wed, Thurs, Fri for a total of 4 hours each day. What a waste of a library. I have many good memories from the lake worth library. It was very close to my house, and in the colorful downtown which i enjoy very much. The lady at the front desk has been nice to me over the years and the librarian in the childrens section has especially been nice to me. I have seen the library change, and i am happy that it is becoming a better place for youngsters and adults alike...

The interior is an old run-down antiquated, style with dull coloring, and has been superficially remodeled. It needs an overhaul. It allows children to play legos, but chastises adults for small things. The kids are always loud and raucous in the play area. It makes no sense that they have a play area. This is opposite of the purpose of the library. Come to READ.....not play...
