So I’m very picky with my hair cuts and I only have one style that I think looks decent on me. I moved here back in August last year and have been looking for a place that gives you exactly what you ask for and does it right. This place doesn’t just give you what you ask for though. They go above and beyond what they are asked to do. Sebastian is the guy I was a introduced to and I was immediately impressed because he was outside on the phone when I was walking up and rather than finish taking his break and finishing his phone conversation (which I would have been totally cool with) he snapped to and asked if I had an appointment or walk in and offered to take me right then. That’s a big deal in general today to see someone actually take initiative to engage their customer. I sat down and showed him a pic of how I like it and he rolled with it offering some good ideas and tips of what would help hide the thinning spots in the front of my hair. He even went as far as to offer for free just because it was my first time, a pretty awesome Semi permanent airbrushed die to help mask the thinning as well. Sebastian was awesome and I will definitely be going to him again and the price is definitely worth what you get from him. On top of the interaction with Bash the rest of the staff were also very engaging and laid back. I walked in and there were laughs and smiles and apparently a really heated Water gun conflict that managed to make its way around the nearby block LOL. It was just family having fun and making a living. That’s the best thing about a haircut at the end of a long day. I had a fantastic barber experience at Shear Kut Barber Shop. My appointment was set for 12 Noon on a Sunday. That time of day is perfect for my schedule on the weekends. Thank you for offering such accommodating hours. I live locally and am excited to share about my recent haircut experience. From the moment I walked into the shop I had a welcoming, calm and peaceful feeling. I certainly appreciate a traditional barber experience where I can just sit back, relax and feel comfortable and confident from the moment I sit in the chair. The experience I had at Shear Cut Barber Shop gave me just that. The Owner and Barber Jeff was polite, friendly and attentive. My haircut looked clean and resembled exactly what I described to Jeff. The haircut transformed a mullet into a tight fade, warm foam on the neck, a straight razor line up, with a familiar spicy after shave scent to cool the back of the neck. The skill and care of the barber, combined with the proper shop environment is what set this haircut apart from the rest. The shop is rad, vintage in its look and traditional in its operation. I found this place because it is close to where I just moved. It is in the downtown area of Lake Worth and so I gave it a shot. I really ended up being happy that I did. The place is small and inviting. There were only 3-4 barber chairs in the entire place with a small bench for waiting.

The atmosphere is trendy but relaxed. There were 3 barbers working when I arrived. They have a classic barber banter back and forth that keeps you smiling. The entire visit was enjoyable.

I received a cut and a straight razor shave (rare to find). I had wanted the full service hot towel shave but decided against because of time restraints. However I will be back to try that out soon. It’s so hard to find a place that will even do this… I look often.

My hair was long when I arrived and I asked the barber in the back chair (also a partner owner) to make it short. He did and I left him to choose the haircut style which I was very pleased with.
