This was my wife & I (our) first time to visit this location and my last. My wife said she would try it again, not me. I will not recommend it either for several reasons. When we arrived to the restaurant, we noticed when walking in that the lobby floors, a few lobby tables and the outside tables and concrete were Littered with trash, food and beverage debris. In other words, disgusting. There was multiple employees walking around. I only won trying to clean up the tables, so other guests that had ordered food could sit down. While we were waiting in line to order a female Patron came out of the restroom and spoke to the employee loudly. There are no paper towels in the bathrooms to dry our hands. The bathroom doors are soaking wet and they are nasty. The female employee said we are out of all paper goods. At that point we should have left. But my wife insisted that we stay. We ordered twenty four dollars worth of food and ice cream. When the food was delivered to our table that was finally cleaned off. We ask the employee for napkins. She said oh we're out of napkins. And I said, do you all not have a manager on duty? She said yes I said I would like to talk to him or her. After watching two of the employees, wipe the tables and the seats with the same cloth towel with no sanitizer bucket or spray bottle I went outside to my car and I grabbed extra napkins that we have stored as well as sanitary wipes to clean off the table again. I decided I did not want to risk a food borne illness. We ate our food which was hot and tasty and finished our ice cream. I decided not to wait any longer to talk to a manager about the lobby conditions and no paper goods and how many safety violations I noticed. I took a few pictures and we left. I will not be back, However, my wife said she would give it a second chance. This dairy queen is the closest to our house, which is about ten miles. Power up and drive eighteen more miles to the next nearest d q before I eat here again.
The building design, which is no fault to the employees, including the manager, is a less desirable design. Especially for the summer in Texas. So many windows that lack solar tinting to help control the sun and heat. It was only 91° the day that we visited at 6 PM. And inside that store was probably 80⁰

Read moreThis was my fourth attempt with this location. As they only recently opened, I've given them a lot of latitude while they find their groove. However, this will be the last chance I give then. I ordered via their app, arrived and was told in the drive thru that their machine was down and they didn't have my order.
So I headed inside, as directed, only to be handed my food. When I commented on the "machine being down" I was informed that that wasn't what I had been told. When I disagreed, it was demanded that I give the name of the person I spoke to; their employee in the drive thru. When I didn't know it, I was brusquely told that I was wrong.
Fine; I'll just take my food and go. When I asked for my Blizzards, I was told that I didn't have any. I disagreed and was told I hadn't ordered any. When I showed my digital recipe, I was met with an exasperated sign; 20 minutes later and I was given my three Blizzards. And to top it off, by the time I got back home, my Blizzards were mostly melted and my burgers were barely warm and not made properly.
Perhaps the most baffling part of this story is this: I was met with resistance when I asked for my physical recipe. After getting it, the receipt shows a +$10 total amount. When I inquired about this, I was simply told that the receipts don't reflect the actual amount charged. Now I have never worked in food services but I did run a multi-million big box retail store, so I am absolutely perplexed on how a large chain restaurant has a POS system that prints inaccurate receipts.
All of this to say, I will not return to this Dairy Queen; I have no other choice than to become a...
Read moreWhen I heard that Lake Worth, my hometown, was getting a Dairy Queen, I was ecstatic. Growing up 'round these parts, Dairy Queen was a cherished spot for my family and me. It was more than just a fast-food joint; it was a place I looked forward to eating as a child. The thought of having another outlet closer to my home made my heart race with anticipation.
But oh, how disappointed I am. I gave this location not one, not two, but five chances to live up to the quality of other Dairy Queen's. Each visit was a gut-wrenching letdown. The food is a pale imitation of what Dairy Queen should serve, a travesty compared to other locations. The tables are often strewn with trash, and the inside feels like a sauna, baking in the Texas sun. But the pièce de résistance? The employees' utter disdain for their customers.
I’m not one to write off a place after a single bad experience. I understand that every business has an off day. But after being treated like a nuisance for pointing out missing items, receiving multiple soupy blizzard's (that they clearly knew were a disaster), and being scoffed at during my last pick-up, I’ve had enough.
Dear Lake Worth Dairy Queen employees and management, your customers are your lifeline. Rolling your eyes and sighing when asked to correct your mistakes is unacceptable. This isn’t just my sentiment; a chorus of other reviewers echoes these complaints.
Take your business elsewhere. And Dairy Queen Texas, if you respond with a copy-paste apology, just as you've done to every other person voicing these concerns, it will only confirm my suspicion that you’re not...
