I recently visited BBQ'd Productions Bar & Grill for a meal with high hopes after hearing numerous positive reviews, but unfortunately, the experience was anything but pleasant. It is with regret that I feel obliged to voice my disappointment publicly, hoping it could lead to some improvements for the benefit of future patrons.
Upon needing to use the restroom facilities, I was met with an unforeseen surprise: no toilet paper in the men's bathroom. This wasn't simply an oversight of an empty roll, but a complete absence of basic sanitary supplies in the entire restroom, demonstrating a stark neglect for customer comfort and convenience.
Upon bringing this lack of essentials to the attention of the staff, I was met with a response that can only be described as astonishingly nonchalant. Rather than receiving an immediate apology and action, their reaction was a casually thrown remark - "Of the men's room as well?" This response not only revealed a lack of communication within the staff but a complete disregard for the customer experience. It suggests that the issue was already known (at least in the women's room) and yet, no effort was made to rectify the situation promptly.
It is in these details that an establishment shows its commitment to customer service and satisfaction. It is fair to expect a certain level of hygiene and readiness in any dining establishment, regardless of the price point or casualness of the environment. It's disheartening to see such a fundamental lapse in the upkeep of BBQ'd Productions Bar & Grill.
An absence of toilet paper might seem a small oversight to some, but for me, it’s a red flag, indicative of larger issues, and calls into question the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the entire establishment. This experience has severely impacted my perception of the restaurant and has left me with an unfortunate impression.
In this competitive culinary landscape, every detail matters, and I hope BBQ'd Productions Bar & Grill takes this review into account and improves their overall service and maintenance. Until then, I'm afraid I cannot recommend this restaurant based on my...
Read moreDisclaimer: This review is from my first and only visit. I went on a Saturday night around dinner time with a party of 5. So this is from a single visit.
Pros: Friendly staff The server was attentive and kept waters topped off without asking for those who had waters. Nice atmosphere and decor
Mid: The food overall was good for most members of the group. We did have some issues with the food orders, and the portions did seem undersized for the pricing. But also we have hyper inflation in this nation. So, it's not a huge knock.
Cons: misleading menu: I ordered the Big Texan witch is Cheddar Cheese, Bacon, Choice of Meat, & Maple Chipotle BBQ, served grilled on Garlic Texas Toast. But then there is a line below that days to 'make it a burger' for $5 more. How is it worded, it's leads you to believe you get everything listed, then adds a burger patty. In reality, they swap out the meat for a basic burger patty. I asked the server about it, and she confirmed that's accurate. So, in the end, you're charged for $23 for an underwhelming burger on texas toast. I'm truly disappointed. If you're going to order it, don't get it as a burger. Save your money.
One of the people in our party ordered The Chicago Flat bread without onions. The first order was made incorrectly, and the server caught it and had it fixed right away. When the new flatbread was brought out, it was Buffalo chicken. The individual doesn't like Buffalo sauce and doesn't want to eat it. The only reason we didn't send it back was that there was debate at our table as to what the person actually ordered. So until the check came, it was thought the person incorrectly ordered the buffalo chicken. But when the check came, it listed The Chicago flatbread.
Last thing was it was cold in there without a daft causing it, so everyone had to keep their coats on.
Overall, I would not intentionally drive 13 miles to eat here again, based on this first impression...

First off I want say the food was amazing the pulled pork was so tender and that Gouda Mac and cheese is amazing! However service was absolutely horrible, had Jorge as our server and sat down with maybe five other tables in the whole place and was left waiting for 20 minutes until he came to take drink orders. He came back pretty quick and took good orders which came quickly after that. After the food was delivered we never saw home for hour and needed drinks and we're ready to pay our tab. Waiting another 45 minutes and he Berber came so I had to go the bar and told him we were ready to pay and leave, he audibly admitted to forgetting about us, no big deal it happens as he was working the outside tables as well. Another 30 minutes go by and he never comes at this point I'm ready to walk out as I have tried to pay so I can leave I head back up again and asked the table behind if they have been helped as they have been sitting for 30 minutes and never got helped and told Ben I've been waiting over 45 mins just to pay my bill and they decided to go else where. Had to go up to the bar again and one of gentleman thanked me for letting them know about horrible service on the way out which got the bartenders attention and she was able to get me my tab and to go boxes. Jorge then showed up and got the boxes but handed to the bartenders rather than face me again. I have always left generous tips even when service is bad but this is the first time I left nothing as I have never experienced something like...
