I've spotted this place just driving down Rand Road, googled it immediately and pictures of what they serve made me check it out. For every single person, who's originally from eastern Europe, Georgian cuisine means a lot. I mean it. My girlfriend is a meatlover, unlike me, however, that helps us order completely different things, thus rate the kitchen much more efficiently. The problem is, we were craving for more dishes that could actually be eaten per visit, so as you may guess from the given number of stars, we will definitely come back. Now, briefly about the place itself. Interior is nice and very authentic, and the brick oven, where all of the bread-related stuff being made is straight ahead when you walk in. MAKE RESERVATIONS! This place is as busy as it gets, when we stepped over, staff told us there is not a single place to sit, but since the party had only 2 of us, we were offered to sit at the bar. Despite the bar is quite tall to have dinner on it, you can get a ton of attention of their friendly staff sitting there and you wouldn't wait for a refill too long:) Khachapuri Adjaruli is a must, for those who are not familiar, this is a business card of Georgian cuisine. Nigzvit Badrijani was something I've never heard of (and couldn't even pronounce it lol), but tried after reading a description and didn't regret. This was simply delicious! The one last thing, Georgia is famous for their outstanding wines, and they offer the best of the lineup! Try Kindzmarauli, semi-dry, semi-sweet red...

This was my first time having Georgian food, my husband is Ukrainian and he was craving some so he Google our closest Georgian restaurant.
So after reading almost all reviews and finding the last ones were bad I was skeptical to come here. However, I do like to try places just to have my own perspective of how they run things. I went with a toddler. And since some late reviews said they spent 40 minutes for food I went overboard prepared for my child to wait (toys, snacks, full charged phone for videos, etc).
Thankfully this was NOT the case. My husband and I had a wonderful experience. We were in and out within 40 minutes. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the staff and owner/manager.
Everyone was wearing a clear/see through mask
We had a waiter and a waitress both were very polite and nice.
We were nicely delivered menus.
We had and idea of what we wanted to order before we walked in so it took 5 minutes or less for us to place our order. Within minutes we were given sharing plates WITH silverware wrapped in napkins (picture attached)
I had the mushroom & chicken soup and also the Khachapuri. Both were delicious. My husband had the Khinkali (dumplings). The last one took a bit longer to be brought to the table but nothing bad.
Overall we recommend this place and would definitely...
Read moreSUPPORT LOCAL FAMILY RESTAURANTS!!! Delicious! Let my review help you out if you're looking to try something new. The website menu isn't uploaded but you can find it on other websites. Everything was scratch made and the breads and kababs are cooked in a charcoal/wood fired oven. The restaurant is upscale but not fine dining. The staff were friendly and helpful.
We ordered the khachpuri adjaruli which is a scratch made bread boat filled with a salty cheese, topped with a fried egg, and brushed with butter and garlic. This is a meal by itself. We also ordered 2 lamb and 1 chicken kababs. The kababs are charcoal grilled and served in a pita bread with onions and fried potatoes. The lamb was very good but the chicken was the star. The chicken's blend of spices and juiciness was incredible!
The entire meal was $75 for two. It might seem pricy but we definitely over ordered. We easily have a whole second dinner. They do carry out and have some outdoor tables. I wish them the best in these...
