Jason's Deli has become nearly ritualistic in my life so this review is certainly going to be biased--biased because I like delicious food and great deals. And olives. Jason's Deli checks all of these boxes and more. I have become addicted to their Turkey Muffaletta sandwich (it is GIANT and covered in delicious olive spread) as well as their baked potatoes. I had never thought a baked potato could get so large until I saw one of the varieties offered at Jason's Deli, it is simply beyond the logic of what a potato can be but somehow they break logic proper.

I get takeout from Jason's Deli at least once a week, usually for a good Friday dinner...and because their portions are so big, it usually becomes a great leftover meal(s) for Saturday.

I have not tried the soup or salad there yet but it looks fresh and inviting every time I stop in to pick up my order. I do recommend their side dishes like their potato salad, coleslaw, and their bean salad as well. Actually, all of their sides are great. Actually...all of the food here is great. Jason's Deli is just plain great. I give this location specifically 5 stars because I have never had a single issue with any order, when I ask for extras or special instructions then they are completed without issue, and the location is clean and inviting. The staff are always pleasant and I have never waited more than a minute to be helped even when they are busy. And by writing this, I'm now hungry and going to order a Turkey Muffaletta--their olive spread is straight mana...

Stepping into Jason's Deli in Lakeland, FL, feels like a breath of fresh air in the often-predictable world of lunch spots. This isn't just another deli; it's a place that genuinely cares about fresh ingredients and offering a huge variety to please everyone. Their famous salad bar is a vibrant testament to this commitment. Forget limp lettuce and tired tomatoes; here you'll find a colorful array of crisp vegetables, flavorful toppings, and a delightful selection of dressings. You can truly build your own masterpiece, and it feels like a healthy and satisfying choice. But Jason's Deli is more than just salads. Their sandwiches are generously portioned and made with quality meats and cheeses. Whether you're craving a classic Reuben, a hearty club, or one of their unique specialty sandwiches, you're in for a treat. And let's not forget their soups! From creamy tomato basil to a robust chili, they offer comforting and flavorful options that are perfect on their own or as part of their popular "Manager's Special" combo. What truly sets this Lakeland location apart is the friendly and efficient service. The staff always seems to have a smile and are happy to help navigate their extensive menu. Plus, the little touch of free ice cream at the end is a sweet way to leave. Whether you're looking for a quick and healthy lunch, a satisfying sandwich, or a comforting bowl of soup, Jason's Deli in Lakeland is a reliable and enjoyable choice. It's a local favorite...

We have been coming to Jason’s Deli for years but this is our first time at this location. Since the sandwich I wanted was not on the menu today, I tried something new and ordered the Texas Style Spud ($8.09) with brisket, melted cheddar and bbq sauce. The potato was huge, like probably 8-10 inches long and stuffed with brisket, melted cheese and bbq sauce. I have to say that I was a bit disappointed and in a weird way. I’ve never felt like there is such a thing as too much cheese...until today. I felt like I was fighting with the cheese to be able to take bites off my fork. The bbq sauce is also very sweet. Too sweet for me. I ate a third and gave the rest to my husband who enjoyed it. I also ordered a cup of chicken pot pie soup ($4.19)which was very tasty. This I would order again and recommend it. We ordered the Amy’s Turkey O sandwich ($6.19)that had turkey, lettuce, tomato, avocado spicy mayo and spicy brown mustard on an onion roll and we would get this one again. We paired this with vegetable soup ($3.19) which was just ok. It wasn’t very flavorful and could have used a little more herbs and spices. Even though I didn’t love my entree, I know how to order it differently next time. We always enjoy our experience at Jason’s Deli and the staff is always nice. The total for our food and two iced teas was $27.87 which is pretty decent...

I did not go inside the store but heard the experience could have been better. However, the food I received was utterly horrible. I ordered the Italian Cruz Po'boy. I was immediately hit with store-bought Olive Garden Italian Dressing when I bit into the sandwich. The flavor was so strong the sandwich was practically inedible. There was so much dressing on the sandwich that it would pour out and drip everywhere. The bread was soaked, causing a horrible, soggy mess in my hands. After eating the first half because I was so hungry and had just spent about $10.89 for a sandwich and a 24-oz drink, I decided to open up the second half of the sandwich. This is when I noticed I had barely been given any meat. I could have gone to Jersey Mike's, spent $20 on a Giant Sub, and quadrupled, no quintupled, the food I was given at Jason's Deli. On top of that, I would have had leftovers for the next day. I hope this store starts focusing more on its sandwiches before it becomes Jason's Salad Bar. I will never be coming back to any Jason's Deli establishment.

Normally very good. I ordered 1/2 turkey muffalata. After have 1/4 i felt sick. This afternoon I was going to have the other half. Opened the sandwich to discover its ham and salami. See photo. When someone orders turkey it might be more than preference. I can’t eat any pork. Also waited on hold to speak with someone for 20+ minutes. Unacceptable. Step up your game or find yourself with less customers. As a frequent customer I’m seeing service going down hill. It’s disappointing.
