I was very, very excited to try this spot since I saw that they're opening up soon. After reading all the positive reviews on Facebook, I figured the best way to start my birthday week off is by going to try them. To say that I'm extremely disappointed in the whole experience is an understatement. We got there and saw a few patrons dining in but figured it would not take long to order a few small things to try off their menu. We opted out of dining as we always do since we don't have the luxury of being able to eat out and sit long because of my child with sensory issues. We tried to order some items which are still not available which I understood since I know that they just opened. What I didn't expect was having to wait for 30 minutes for 2 very small dessert/snack items. Funny thing is two ladies walked in a long time after us but yet shortly walked out way before us with the same exact food items we've been patiently waiting for. How do I know this? The lady walked out sounding surprised and saying how her (name of food) was done already. I jokingly said out loud that I hope she didn't get my food to my husband. Mind you, it's hard to miss us because we're sitting up front and I kept looking at the young man who took my order just so he doesn't forget about us waiting there. We were the only ones who are not waiting for a drink order and there wasn't a lot of people to begin with. I was about to get up and ask when the young man that took my order asked me what I ordered again. After I told him, he ran to the drink making station and spoke to the two women working behind the counter. I asked how much longer I'd wait then he walked to the back area where they're cooking and told them in their language, I'm guessing about my order. I was already up from my seat at this point and asked him how much longer he said another few minutes and at this point we've been there for 30 minutes. He then told me sheepishly that my order was given to someone else to which I replied that I knew because I overheard the lady walking out. My child was already getting impatient and hungry (we were going somewhere else to eat) so I just politely asked for a refund. The young man decided that it was better to run to the back to tell the cook to stop making my food first further making me wait longer until he got back up to the front to provide me with my money back. My husband has been wanting to take me here all weekend and I didn't want to go because I figure they'd be very busy so having this experience when they were not even busy is very disappointing. I like to support local businesses but it's such a rookie mistake to not have the self awareness of customers that's been waiting for a long time and checking the food before you hand it over to the...
Read moreCame here on a Sunday with my husband the atmosphere of the restaurant is very pretty aesthetic. It looks beautiful. The staff here was very friendly and very prompt with anything that we needed. Now, some of the food here is a hit and miss. I’m gonna start with our negative here first which was the pork belly rice bowl. The meat felt like it had been marinating too long and had developed a toughness it felt like cheap cuts of meat. The egg was well overdone I understand it’s a hard boiled egg, but when I bit into this egg, it felt like it had been marinated for way too long and had a sour taste to the egg that I personally did not vibe with. The pickled vegetables on this dish were actually well done in the rice was really good very nice very fluffy beautiful consistency. I asked to switch over to the goyaz. I got a pan fried pork dumpling that was absolutely delicious. It was very fresh. You could taste the cabbage and the soy sauce that had been marinated with. My husband also was dining in with me. He got the Korean fried chicken with the secret spicy sauce. He did say that the Korean chicken was great and I can say that it was he ordered a 10 piece and received 14. The chicken is fried fresh so it takes a little bit longer. It’s worth the wait. The secret spicy sauce definitely hits you on the back end. It’s not an upfront heat. It is a little bit milder, but still very tasty. He also got a coffee with brown sugar in it at 30% sweetener added to it. It still felt like it could’ve used a little bit more. I got the Sakura Boba tea. It’s nice light and airy with those hints of dark notes that I expect. I got it at 30% sweetened as well. One last thing the bathrooms were definitely kind of a mess. They are clean but not well stocked at times and it looks like they’re having a plumbing issue with the sink in the woman’s side. The bathroom on both side had weird decor choices in them. Honestly, I would take out all the weird signs that are in them and put one nice painting in each.Overall I’d give this place a three out of five staff is great food is great just depending on what you get and the service here is a...
Read moreDear Michi Ramen manager,
Good evening, how are you doing? The reason why I write this formal note, because I was expecting more from you as a manager. Since the day you guys grand open. I always visit at least twice a week or more with my friends. I do not want to leave a bad review. I love the staff and everyone who work there, but today you disappointed me as the manager. I asked for extra sauce, because the chicken it is a hit or miss on the sauce. Some days it would have a lot of sauce, and I like it. Some days you barely give me any sauce. To day when I come back to order more foods and asked for extra sauce, and I was informed that you “can’t” give me any sauce (please take a look at the picture). I am highly disappointed today with you Mr. Or Ms. manager. All love no hate, because everyone who works there is wonderful as always (prop to the guy who work as front desk). One more thing, my friends who always came in once a week, and he only and always order 2 cups of boba and sometimes with food; you guys gave him vip card. While I always visit you guys 2+ times a week, and I get was box of chicken with little sauce? I just hope this review will reach you soon, and you will please reconsider your actions toward your “loyal” customers. Much love, I hope everyone have a wonderful...
