There was a time when this was a decent place to shop. The stores were mostly boutiques, but the anchor stores were good enough to fill in where the boutiques couldn't.
Today, a bunch of spaces are empty. Even the jumping thingy for the kids was shutdown. Very few customers and the choices are limited. I went there to buy a pair of work shoes. I couldn't find the kind of shoes I needed for work. They were available a few years ago. Today my only option is to go online. What'a drag.
This place is just another victim online shopping. J. C. Penny's, Sears, Cinemark and a few other stores are still worth visiting. However, if you're looking for something special that you can't find online. Lakeland Mall is NOT the place to visit. Read moreI refused to eat there after seeing rat droppings on the outside of the building. I go back to check once in a while and the same rat droppings are still there. Unbelievable that they won't clean their parking lot. I gave it one star because they did in fact open to eat on the inside. I have not ate an inside yet. Once again please clean up the rat droppings around your building. After you do so I'm gonna wail a couple weeks and check for new rat droppings. Read moreThis is a great small shopping area with a couple of bigger stores like Hobby Lobby and Big Lots but it has many eating places offering quite a variety of tastes and food. We often eat at Chipotle or Subway but there is a Chinese Buffet, a Cicces Pizza, a Thai restaurant and a couple others. A First Watch is by one of the entrances as is an Outback.
