Tonight literally was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant in my life. I couldn’t even form words to speak to your manager nor could your staff. We genuinely felt as if the manager did not understand what we were saying because we were astounded with her response. I work for a restaurant owner for over 17 years and would have never treated a customer the way she did. I’m also a single mother with a set income I only had $100 for a night out for myself. To my surprise when the bill came it was $130 without tip. I looked at the receipt and said oh they just double charged me no problem. Your waitress went to inform the manager of HER error and the manager would not accept what your employee was saying. The manager kept saying the food is ate it gone I can’t do nothing I sorry. Your waitress is crying saying it’s her fault and she will pay for it. This is not at all how this should have been handled especially in front of a customer. When you apologize you should mean it if you genuinely think the customer is trying to get something over on you then you say I understand and provide policies that confirm what you are saying. YOUR policy states when you realize something is wrong with your order say something which we did and we were told that we were going to get the cops called on us because we didn’t have the $130. Are you kidding me? At this point I was speechless wanting to say call the police which I would never do. Your manager is what gives small business owners a bad rep. When I say the experience with your manager was so bad I will not be back I truly stand on that. It’s truly sad how unprofessional she is to your staff and customers. Yet again I know in this world people are trying to get something over on the next person but we did not know our order was wrong until we received the bill. I truly hope this reaches JASON the owner but I know things inside our office usually only makes it to the restaurant staff or office but if this does reach you please give this individual more training on hospitality she should not grin no laugh at a customer who is being polite to her and she pushes to not be polite. Then says that we are in the wrong for speaking about being single struggling moms in front of our kids slamming the new receipt in front of us....
Read moreI hadn't been here before, and was excited to try a new-to-me crab place closer to my house after finding one on the north side of town that we really like. The ambiance was fun--lots of nautical/sea creatures decorating the dining room. It seemed somewhat bright and inviting. The service was also good, with our waitress checking in on us periodically but not hovering.... The food was ok. We got the Mr. and Mrs. Crab seasoning, which is a little bit of all the seasonings, mild flavor since the waitress (and menu) told us their spices are hotter than most places. There was a ton of garlic in huge chunks in the spices. Thankfully we like garlic, or it would have been inedible We got one of the bigger meals, which is supposed to feed 2-3 people, according to the menu. Unfortunately, there was only one snow crab cluster, so we had to break it apart to share. The crab was average, and very hard to get out of the shell. The seasoning was ok, but it seemed like the seasoning and the sauce were two different things, with the seasoning sort of sitting somewhat dry on top of the seafood, and the sauce pooling at the bottom of the pan. Maybe if ours had come out in the steam bag it would have melded them more... the sausage was sliced super thin, which was a shame, because it would have been better if you could actually take bites of a bigger piece. Ultimately, we just were underwhelmed. It was ok--nothing bad--just not as good as the other one we went to recently. This place only has snow crab and blue crab, which is ok, but the other place has dungeness crab and king crab, and much larger slices of sausage, plus the flavors are better and it is less expensive. It's a shame really, because we were hoping to love this one as much and save...
Read moreLet’s start with 100$ for 4 scallops, 9 shrimp and 2 small clusters of crab.
We did show up around 1020ish and they were awesome let us come in still to eat (they closed in 40 minutes) the manager reopened the bar to make us one drink the server was great. The drink with the tequila and mango should’ve been good but it was not made good at all.
Now, the food. We did a pick your own and 23.95? I think for a 1/2 of scallops is a bit much but we no joke got 3 full scallops and another 2 scallops that were broken apart into small pieces, so 4 scallops. 20$ for a 1/2 of shrimp…9 shrimp, I’m not exaggerating. The crab was about a lb but the meat was stuck to the shell and it was a small amount of meat. Potatoes were soaked on the outside with the sauce but the inside was plain the corn wasn’t great. I have no idea how this place has so many good reviews. I get that we came in towards the end of the night but if they didn’t have enough food to serve for the portions then why charge for it? Don’t think there was any care or communication from kitchen to management to say hey we’re low on scallops or shrimp or whatever.
It’s very annoying to pay all of that money for nothing. I could’ve bought more than just 3 items actually marinated it & It’d be way cheaper than eating here and I’d get the...
