July 02- 2024- The barista and register girl gave me the hardest time today. I came at around 5:20-5:30pm to order on half off day (12-6pm). My girlfriend and I have been getting emails about this offer and were excited about it. Once I reached window to pay, the lady with the blue (colored) hair was not welcoming and gave me an attitude for asking to scan my half off code. She explained that it would have to be two separate transactions which I understood and told her that I would go inside for the second order since my girlfriend’s app was not loading up. We finally got it loaded up and as I went to scan it, the lady at the register scanned and said that my girlfriend’s code has probably been used already cause it was not popping up on her screen. I explained that this was a brand new account and that there was no way it has been used yet. The offer was sitting on the home menu. Then she says that because it’s new it won’t go through. It doesn’t say that anywhere in the terms for the offer. I asked if there were any exceptions that she or a manager can do for one drink! She said no and smiled in a petty manner. It seemed they just wanted to give me a hard time today because I passed on that drink, went to the Starbucks next door and there were 0 issues they gave me the second order there for half off. First of all when I entered no one greeted me and tried to tell me they would be with me, they would continue to make their drinks and do what their doing EVEN THOUGH they knew I was there!!!! They would glance at me and go about their business!!! I literally had to verbally say, “Excuse me, is anyone available to assist me” then that’s when their attitudes started. When they finally finished my drink Paris almost threw my drank down and didn’t even call my name? And not to mention my drink was made wrong but a blonde redid it then had to redo it again but she added the wrong topping. But I had to wait almost 20 minutes for one drink which is ridiculous! Besides the blonde, the customer service was terrible, the wait time was ridiculous and I had to have my drink made 3Xs! This isn’t the first time!!!! Everytime I come here there’s an issue!!! So sick of it!!! I always leave in a bad attitude which is unacceptable! They need to hire a new crew or management needs to look retrain their staff. I’m from Naples, FL and I’ve never experienced such unprofessionalism! This is such an unorganized Starbucks!!!

Read moreThis is my favorite Starbucks in the Lakeland area. It's actually nice that most of the employees know you when you come in, or even, if you order online. They know I'm a little picky when it comes to how I like my coffee, but here they make sure its right. If it's not, they will fix it with no questions asked, and they dont get frustrated with you, if they do, they sure don't show it. I had to stop going to the store that was much closer to me. They NEVER could get my order right, and the difference in the employees literally was night and day. The store on Wedgwood honestly is the best and the employees are the sweetest and I really do like a lot of the kids that work here. They're all very respectful. This speaks volumes about this company or the manager that runs this store. They seem happy and take pride in their job and they go out of their way to get to know you as a customer. It's hard to find that these days. Please be patient with them if it's busy, they honestly are doing the best they can and the fastest. Make sure you go by and you will see what I am...
