I came in to just get a smoothie. The restaurant wasn't really busy at 9:30 Sunday. That's why I decided to come before I went to my appointment at 10:00. Just two orders in front of me. When I got to the pick up area I sat and waiting on the seat with another woman whom I had a brief conversation with. She couldn't understand why it was taking almost 25 for just her bagel. Wow, I was shocked. As we were waiting a worker took butter out of the customer bin and placed it on the plates that were ready. A few minutes later a little old lady went to the same bin for butter to find the bin empty she then asked that same worker for butter because there was none leftThe employee said nothing but went back into the kitchen so then another employee walked up and asked her for butter and she responded kindly an went to get it for her. The first employee finally came with the butter. No apologies not even a word. The lady waiting on the bagel finally got her order then the couple got theirs about 5 minutes later. I noticed the electroic board with our names for people waiting to get their orders on it. My name disappeared so I got up to get my smoothie but it wasn't quite ready yet but I could see she was preparing it. She handed me my smoothie to me. I have ordered many smoothies and have never had an issue so I just quickly left since I was trying not to be late for my appointment. A half a mile down road I took a sip to a very nasty smoothie debating wether to turn around risking being late I decided I wasn't going to ignore this problem with everything I saw take place. Being a business owner myself I would rather know there is an issue with my company before it's too late to do anything about it. I went in straight to the the place we order from and told the lady my problem and the very same worker had the keys to register to give my money back so I was even more disturbed I was dealing not with an employee but a person in charge of the shift. I also notice the floors in the front work areas were very dirty. I was very firm and honest with her as politely as I could be and told her I had always kept panera bread on the top of my list but there was something seriously wrong with this restaurant and it needs to be addressed. She didn't respond to at all for matter she didn't seem to care at all.People need their jobs and Panera can be a wonderful place to eat at again. I have told my friends they to were shocked as well. We have been regulars for many years. One star is sadly and...
Read moreMy family has been part of the coffee subscription for years and this service has drastically declined at this particular location. There is no drive thru, so defaulting to inside pick up is understandable. However, their rapid pick up is anything but rapid. There is only an empty cup with your name on it at the pick up station, if they put anything related to my order out at all. Many times we have to go back and forth across the restaurant because the coffee and fillers (cream, etc) are in different places. They frequently change up whether the coffee is behind the counter or in the dining area and several times there has been no coffee at all, so waiting for some to be made is dependent on the extra time I have.
It seems picky to complain about an affordable service, however, it’s frustrating when an establishment promotes a service that they can’t effectively follow through with (i.e.”rapid” pick up often taking 10 minutes or more after receiving notification that my order is “ready.”) I joined for the convenience, especially since I often have kids in the car and there are many locations to visit during our commutes or travel. While it seems like my order is “free” upon pick-up, it’s not unusual for us to order additional treats or whole family meals since we are already picking up coffee (which is likely the goal of the promotion anyway.) I hope to see positive changes in the future for the coffee subscription / rapid pick up at...
Read moreBefore I start my review, I love Panera hardly have any issues at all and the food is always on point. However, today the food was not. My wife and I ordered you pick two soup and sandwich. We both ordered chicken noodle and chipotle chicken avocado sandwich, we both ordered the same thing. We dined in and once I sat down to feast on the delicious food I ordered, I noticed the meat was lacking in both sandwiches and the soup was mostly broth with one piece of chicken in my soup, my wife’s soup was all broth with a few bits of carrot. I thought maybe there is some kind of shortage of chicken I was unaware of, so I went to the pick up counter to ask if there was some kind of chicken shortage to a women with curly blond ish hair and a blue shirt, I didn’t catch her name. Her response to me was all meat portions are weighted and there is no way to see what is in the soup when it’s portioned. I responded well our sandwich and soup had little to no meat and I’ve been getting this for a while and never have I seen the portion of meat so lacking and missing entirely in the soup. She again responded everything is portioned and didn’t offer any kind of resolve. I’m disappointed in this customer service, because I was kind, discreet, and not an angry Karen. Her response should have been, “hey I’m so sorry let me see what I can do to fix this.” I guess I could've gone to a manager, but I feel this might make bigger impression on missed...
