I am a former employee at this location in question, an employee who will admit to my own mistakes while working for this location, namely angering some of the managers one two many times for being slow on closing dishes, refusing to remove myself from the store when I was getting overstimulated as a byproduct of my own autism diagnosis, and needing to be repeatedly reminded of various customer service details. I will also confirm and acknowledge the feelings of some of the bad reviews of this location if the people in question being mentioned in these reviews are who I think they are.
I wish I could say I fully feel for those who had those bad experiences, but most likely I don't know if the reviewers truly know the workplace environment these employees work in. This is one of the busiest Domino's locations you'll ever see. Expect to see a multitude of Delivery Drivers going in and out trying to deliver multiple orders at times on the busiest nights. Expect to see a Store Manager stressed out the wazoo not out of some personal vendetta against you, the customer, but because it gets that busy; he needs to focus on multiple customers at a time and almost always masks it well. In other words, most humans are not built for multitasking, humans are capable of making multiple upon multiple mistakes, and he's just trying to survive at this point. Who isn't in this economy?
Many of the employees I have had the pleasure of interacting with while I worked at this Dominos are some of the most thick skinned, honest, and hard working people I know. They take a lot of crap and they push through a lot of crap. They make mistakes but more often than not they are trying to do a job meticulously well. They taught me a lot about myself and I took a job as a delivery driver when I desperately needed to just find a way to get through the day. This is not an easy job if you're me, and they pushed me to extremes. Some may find that abusive; I see it as trying to put the practices of Johnathan Haidt's "The Coddling of The American Mind" into action.
This job gave me a good kick in the rear when I needed that humbling desperately on the reality of life. The employee discount was a saving grace when I needed it. I got a lot of delicious food at a bargain, allowing me to have a few days of prepared food without needing to break the bank. When you live that kind of life, this stuff is a great reward from the rough parts of life. If you are at all having doubts about this place, don't. If possible, order earlier when there are more drivers likely...

I ordered a ham and pineapple pizza (yum!) along with an order of cheesey bread. I was supposed to receive a free 12" pizza as well because of a surprise promo they're currently running. The order arrived on time and when I set the boxes on the counter and opened them, I found out that they delivered a pepperoni/saussage & pepperoni/green pepper pizzas, not what I ordered.
By the time I realized the error in Domino's delivery, it was too late and the delivery driver had already left my house. I proceeded to call the store and I was immediately placed in automated phone call hell. I have been waiting on hold to speak to an actual human for 52 minutes and counting.
Where you at Domino's?????
P.S. We ate the pizza that was delivered in error because my 6 year old son and my wife...
Read moreIf you wish for pizza delivery, PLEASE do not order from Dominos in Lakeville. It is a disaster. We have now had two missed deliveries in a row. Both times, the Dominos phone app says it was delivered, but the food was delivered to another residence. I am okay with feeding other folks...no issues there..but... We even have specific directions on the app on where to place the order. If you call the store, you will get several different answers from several different people because you are always put on hold. I think we have now missed 5-6 deliveries in the past year or so. We have finally learned to never order delivery from this location and give up on Dominos Lakeville completely. We get it...worker shortage, pandemic, supply chain, but simply incorrect deliveries several times to the same location. Lakeville has better pizza...
