So, I am here to warn you. Do not eat here, when it’s at its best you will get good chicken. However other days not so much. It’s like they have different cooks or something. My wife and I usually go to the Lynwood location never had a problem. We decided to go to this location. Horrible experience, we ordered 3 different kind of wings. All were under cooked stringy and chewy. We got all the ay home and began eating with our children and we noticed we were served under cooked chicken. We threw it away and ordered pizza for kids. My wife immediately started to not feel well because she is pregnant. Then later I started not to feel well. We kept our receipt for proof of purchase. Called the next morning . The owner and another young girl who seemed to be her daughter was very rude. Refused to refund us for the order and accused my pregnant wife of eating the food then requesting a refund when she never ate it after that first bite. Then u look up the reviews and I instantly regret even going to this place. $70 for that little bit or food then $2 per side of super small ranch. Should have been the clear sign they need business too badly. However, I gave them a chance and now I regret it. As my wife and I lay beside eachother sick and missing work. Because of a stomach illness they created then tried refusing to do anything about. Finally after me getting on the phone and talking to them. They agreed to refund the order. Think a lawyer might still be an option because of how poorly they...
Read more(12/30/2024) I got the secret sauce chicken and my friend got the half fried regular and half secret sauce boneless wings.
After ordering, it took 25-30 minutes for the food to arrive. The secret sauce tasted odd, almost like a bruised apple that has been sitting in the sun for a couple days. That’s the best way I could describe it. The chicken sizes were incredible small, with little to no meat. There was a chicken piece I tried eating that was COMPLETELY cartilage/bone. I paid almost $20 for these wings, and I was so incredibly disappointed.
I tried my friends fried regular boneless wings and they were okay. The portions here are extremely small for the amount of money you are paying.
The restaurant is extremely darkly lit, which I guess is the vibe. The music was a bit loud. The chairs were uncomfortable. The table only came with two napkins (granted, we could have asked for more. However if we have a party of 4 with saucy wings, you need more than two napkins. There was only napkins for two of us.
Restroom review: The women’s restroom was well kept. The paper towel machine would malfunction giving me only 1/2 a paper towel roll, but that fixed after a couple tries.
the men’s bathroom was completely out of paper towels.
Overall, would not recommend. Wasted $20 on bad food. If you’re looking for a Korean bbq place,...
Read moreI understand that Covid has made things difficult but dropping standards is a sure-fire way to fail. I avoid chains but I had a craving for KFC and have lived near a BBQ Chicken location for about 6 years. Why not give it a shot? The restaurant was freezing. Outdoors was around 50 and inside wasn't much better. And for absolutely no reason. Just freezing. We ordered hot tea which showed up in Styrofoam cups of warm water and a tea bag. If Starbucks gave me a cup of hot water and some beans, it would be an issue so I don't know why it was served like this. The rice cakes with cheese showed up in a little fryer basket. Just like in a bar. There was no rice cake anywhere to be found. It's just mozzarella sticks. The chicken arrived and was probably the worst of it all. I took a bite which was warm on the outside and cold on the inside. The skin was soft, chewy and disgusting. I worked in some shortcutting kitchens and can tell you that the chicken is precooked and held somewhere to be blasted for a second or two in the deep fat fryer. I peeked into the kitchen and saw an unordered cooked basket of chicken hanging out. Bad for fast food but worse for whatever this place is...
