I just had one of the worst customer experiences I've had in my life at this Dairy Queen. I came in at about 11:20 a.m. on 11/11, and there were no customers there. It seemed like there was no one there at all, except the door was open and the sign said it was open. I took my time figuring out my order, trying not to get irritated, because it didn't seem like anyone was ever going to wait on me. Finally, I looked around in the back and there was a woman leaning over a counter in the back -- I think looking at her phone. I yelled, "Hello!" No response. She didn't even move. At this point I was irritated because I knew she could hear me. I yelled, "Hello" again, only louder this time. Nothing. Finally I yelled, "How about I just start stealing stuff out of your freezers up front here?" She walked up the counter -- finally -- at that point, and didn't say anything. Just looked at me. I said, "I've been here a long time." Nothing, except, a rude, "What can I get you?" "Forget it!" I said, trailing a couple profanities as I left the store. Read moreI'm just going to say this. There are kids that have been walking this block for a few years now with change in their pocket let's just say this dairy Queen opened in the 70's and I started hitting it in the early 80s. TBH I'm glad it's still here,!!
Me and my Bros or me and my chicas would raid the change in our couches whether it was quarters nickels are dimes didn't matter you could come up on a chocolate dipped cone dipped in sprinkles for 2 quarters, one dime and three pennies.
Yeah 63 cents you got that?
Let's just say something like that meant something special to an 80's kid.
Whereas nowadays coming up on social media is the only thing that makes a kid feel like they're getting a sugar rush. So that being said, I still frequent a DQ every now and then due to the fact that I need to feel something that ain't electrical stimulation
still love you DQ 35 years later...
Read moreVery crappy service i ordered 2 banana splits had to wait for the second one for at least 8 minutes after i received the 1st one, the young guy decided he didnt want to finish my order so he started doing other orders. Then i got an attitude from another young guy who had to finish my order. First he made it wrong and then just asked if he could add more toppings instead of making my order the way i asked for it in the first place! I was treated really crappy even though I was patiently waiting while 3 other people got their order before my order was complete. Who's allowing these young kids with a bad attitude and no customer service skills to run this store? Im definitely not coming back....sad because Dairy Queen used to be a family favorite but I'll take my services to Cold...
