I am delighted to share my extraordinary experience at Lakewood Painting with a Twist, a truly community-centered and caring organization. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that this establishment is more than just a painting studio. The owner's genuine warmth, fun-loving nature, and unwavering support made this an unforgettable event, unlike any other we have encountered.
The owner's vibrant personality and sense of fun immediately set the tone for an incredible painting session. They effortlessly infused the atmosphere with energy and laughter, making it an enjoyable and uplifting experience for all. Their ability to create an environment that blended creativity and amusement was truly remarkable.
Adding to the lively ambiance was the owner's thoughtfully curated playlist. The selection of music was outstanding, enhancing the overall atmosphere and creating a joyful and inspiring backdrop for our painting endeavors. It was evident that the owner had taken the time to consider every detail, ensuring that our experience was filled with both artistic expression and pure enjoyment.
Beyond the fun and engaging aspects, what truly touched our hearts was the owner's immediate and unwavering support. As individuals who work with trauma and have sought assistance from various franchises and organizations, we were astounded by the owner's genuine care and willingness to go above and beyond to support our group. Their kindness and compassion were evident from the very beginning, as they offered their assistance without hesitation.
The owner's commitment to community-centered care was apparent in their actions. While others may have turned a blind eye, the owner demonstrated a deep understanding of our needs and a sincere desire to be of service. They provided a safe and welcoming space where we could feel supported and valued, allowing us to relax and enjoy a much-needed moment of respite.
Lakewood Painting with a Twist is more than just a painting studio. It is a haven of care and support, fostered by an owner who embodies the essence of community-centered service. Their dedication to creating an inclusive and uplifting environment sets them apart from other franchises and organizations. The owner's immediate response to our needs and their genuine commitment to our well-being left an indelible mark on our hearts.
In conclusion, my experience at Lakewood Painting with a Twist was nothing short of extraordinary. Read moreMy friends and I did a class at Painting with a Twist and our instructor was Chloe.
It was our first time in and the studio space was larger than i imagined! The walls were adorned with painting pieces to inspire you as you're painting. (The bathroom murals are soo pretty and fun!)
I'm a beginner painter and Chloe did an excellent job pacing the class and giving helpful instructions. Your paint and canvas are all set up for you before the beginning of the class, so all you need to do is put on an apron and sit in your designated spot. I put my friends' name down when i reserved my spot and our setup were right next to eachother. During the class, if you fall behind, she is more than willing to come over and help you out. I didn't feel rushed at all and had an overall blast!
One note is to be open to going slightly overtime. My session was supposed to be from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm but we ended up finishing at around 9:50 ish. But that wasn't a problem for us since we weren't doing anything afterwards.
Highly recommend for a nice activity to do with your friends, family, loved one, or...
Read moreI love this place for painting and Brian is a fantastic instructor. However, we made candles today and I don’t think I would do that again. The whole process took 20 minutes, at the most, and then you’re left waiting for the candles to set. They offer a binder of labels for your candles as well but many of them needed restocked. We ended up asking for blank labels and markers and made our own labels, which ended up being the best part. I think that this part could be included in the candle making class. Maybe also include painting the glass candle holder as well? I think there’s opportunity for a much more fun experience here to fill up the 2 hour time frame while the candle sets and it would feel like the customer is getting more bang for their buck. A couple of tabletop games would be fun as well, like Connect 4, Checkers, Chess, etc… I’ll still be back to paint another time but the candle making could...
