So, I’ve been to other Olive Garden locations in Colorado. Northfield and Aurora, for example. I have to say this location was the worst one I have been to.
I went with a friend this time around and we both were served by Anali. She came to the table asking if we were ready to order, to which I said we can start with appetizers and drinks. She quickly grabbed the ziosk and said, “oh you can just do the apps from the machine,” instead of taking the order. I told her that’s fine, I would just do it myself then if that’s preferred, and my friend and I ordered martinis. It took thirty minutes for our drinks to make it to the table, during which time we already got our soup and salad.
When I got my soup, my bowl was dripping with spilled soup on the side, and the plate underneath was left messy. I had to turn my plate around to avoid getting it on my shirt.
Once we got our food, she did not check on us for the entirety of our meal, waiting until the very end when we stopped eating to ask if we needed anything else or if we were done. She did not request to refill our waters or cocktails, she did not ask how the food was, nothing at all. She only had one other table to tend to, which we saw sitting behind us. It was also pretty slow for a Saturday afternoon. It was odd that she never asked us how we were doing.
Regarding the food, it was okay. The pasta was pretty mushy and the sauce didn’t have a lot of flavor (I ordered the chicken scampi). The Martinis once they arrived were incredibly bitter and strong, the olives didn’t so much to alleviate it.
Overall, this was a pretty negative experience. I think I’m going to take a break from OG for a while, or at least never visit this location, just cause I was left disappointed at the end of it. I couldn’t make it to dessert before my friend and I both decided we could just get ice cream or...
Read more**UPDATE: after our complaints were came back and the food was better like night and day!
Service was great from beginning to end!! Food was not so much - inconsistent at best.
We got there and asked for the friendliest server. Maya, the host, thought about it and gave sat us with Nadia. Best move ever, because most hosts just smile and dismissively say "everyone's friendly" -- yet sometimes personalities clash because humans aren't robots. I appreciated Maya's thoughtful decision.
We were taken care of quite well with Nadia! She matched our jovialness with her clever humor and nearly seamless service. She gave us everything as we asked (and sometimes before we even asked!) except on the never ending pasta/soup (see below). Nadia made our visit so much better than we had originally expected. It's always nice to have people who enjoy their job. Thanks Nadia!
The food was inconsistent in flavor, presentation, timing, and even density. While we waited for only ~4 minutes for our first soup after ordering, and it was delicious, my second soup (the same soup) took 3 times longer and was watery and boiling hot. And the pasta ordered at the same time I ordered my second soup came out several minutes earlier! We complained to Destiny the manager and she fixed things and said she would talk to the kitchen. We'll be back to find out. If not for the rest of the staff we wouldn't even consider coming back to this location even though it's the...
Read moreMy family and I went here on Valentine's Day 2018. It was a horrible experience. We were sat rather fast but that was the best of the night. when we ordered drinks, the waitress did not bring all of it and we had to ask her twice to bring our drinks. we ordered the endless bread and salad, but we only got one bread and the waitress was nowhere to be found. the other tables had other people serving them and there were being taking care of but not us. The food was mediocre, definitely not what I expected. We spoke to management about the service and they apologized and said they would comp one of the checks that were the less. That should have been the end of it but it wasn't. the money was taken still and we had to call the next day and then they said they would correct it and the charge would fall off. that also did not happen. we were still charged but now it was for half of the second check, not the full second check like we were told. when we contacted them again they said that was all there were going to do. We were getting nowhere with them and were forced to contact the bank to dispute the transaction. We received a letter yesterday from the bank saying that Olive Garden Returned the funds to the account. It is very sad that we needed to go through our bank to get what we were promised. I would not recommend this location to anyone that values Service and Honesty. Save your money and find...
