Hungry on a Thursday night and breakfast was the only thing that sounded appetizing. I ordered ihop online for first time ever. I am not a fan of the other breakfast place that starts with a D. I have not been to this particular ihop since it opened in my area. I used to go to a couple different locations before this one opened. I ordered online because i didnt feel like being in a social setting. I wanted to go in, pick up my food and leave. Maybe i was wrong to assume that it would be that easy. I ordered online at 9:28 and it said my order should be ready around 9:40. I left my house at 9:37, thinking if they needed a few more minutes, it should be ready when i arrived. But would not be long enough for it to get cold. It takes me about 6 minutes to get there. Arrived at 9:43. I walked in and no one was in the front. Not a lot of people eating in the restaurant either. I waited for about 3 minutes and then an employee finally came. I told her i ordered online and she told me she would be with me in a minute. She seated the two others who came in after me. A few more minutes passed and another person came up (manager?) And asked if i had been helped and i told her the other person said she would help me and i had ordered online. She said they were bagging my order up and it would be out in a minute. (Apparently they needed longer than i thought). More people came in and a couple minutes later, the manager? Brought a bag of food up toward the front and placed it on a table. I assumed it was my order. The first employee was now at the front at the register checking people out. More people came in. A few more minutes go by and the manager? came back up and talks to the girl and then she points to the bag and says it's for me. The bag had been sitting there probably 5 minutes already. The manager? then gives it to me. I have been waiting for my food 10 minutes by then. Why couldn't the manager have just handed it to me 5 minutes before? So i am really annoyed and i say," I hope its still warm," and i leave. I am finally leaving 13 minutes after my order was scheduled to be ready. I didn't want to hang out in the restaurant or i would have gone in and ate, rather than order for pickup. But they gave me no choice. I sit down to eat my food exactly 10 minutes later at home. When i open up the container, EVERYTHING is cold! And the bacon and potatoes are overcooked. Potatoes are a little too salty as well. I will NEVER eat at this location again. I was tired and starving and not feeling like hanging out in a restaurant and they...
Read moreOh boy, first I want to say what seemed like the only two people that actually worked there one was a waiter, the other waitress in training, we're two very nice individuals. The manager however apparently wasn't the manager as she left us sitting at a table for 5 minutes while she claimed to go and retrieve the manager to correct a situation on our tab. Secondly, there is absolute false advertisement as the sign claims senior discount of an entree with the purchase of an entree and two drinks. After our meal which was delicious, we inquired about why our bill was so high, which we had spoken about many times the fact that we had come there because of what we thought was a great discount since neither of us really had much money and we're very hungry from running around, we were then told that the discount only went up to $8 even though previously we had come and gotten the full discount. The woman who is supposedly the manager obviously doesn't think that she's the manager since she claimed that she had to retrieve the manager in order to help us with our situation instead the waiter came and helped us with our situation as she decided to leave us sitting there with a two month old baby who is clearly ready to get out of there, as so were we. Highly unprofessional. other than that our meal was great and the waiter who should be the manager! Made our ticket right. Just as we were paying our bill though, a good samaritan paid $20 of our $21.46 bill. Good karma comes to good people :-) I will say IHOP, we love your food, but there needs to be a clear advertisement on the fact that it's only up to $8 for the...
Read moreWe walked in, 3 people at the front, not 1 greeted us or the other customer waiting before us. Then the young girl told 1 of the other workers just standing around to seat us in the conference room. I said the other customer was here first. He said for us to go. We were seated, sat there waiting for someone to ask if we wanted our drinks, no one came. Finally my partner went to look for someone. The young girl who told the worker to seat us said we shouldn't of been seated in that room. No one there has any idea of how a business works! We were taken to the main room where we stood around for another couple of minutes while they ran around trying to figure out where to sit us even though a lot of the tables were empty but they kept telling us that they are short on help. We stood there until another worker asked us what we were doing and he told us to sit down in the booth. I asked him if there was a manager there and he didn't really know. Finally we got a waitress who took our order but after she took our order someone came in that knew her so she ended up talking to him for 5 minutes while we sat there still with no drinks waiting for her to put in our order for breakfast. No one there knows what they're doing, a bunch of young kids who acted like they've never had a job in their life because they didn't know what they were doing, there's no manager around to talk to, it's pathetic!! Never going back there! We were there on New Year's Eve at around 8:15 a.m. it didn't look that busy but all the workers were running around like their heads were cut off nobody knew what they were doing. I give...
