I have a crippled leg, a brace and wear Brooks Addiction due to the pronation feature. Between the brace and shoes I can walk. Otherwise no. A year ago I had lost 10 lbs and my shoes felt too big and went to a mall store and was told they were the right size. I have lost 18 at this point.

I ordered some new ones online this week as I was having serious problems with my foot and leg. It seemed to me the shoe broke down too early. And the foot was hurting badly, something it had never done before. I needed to talk to a real person and have them look at what was going on. The nice person at Brooks indicated they had changed them somehow. Turned out yes but shouldn't have made a difference.

I went in and this wonderful man, whose name I can't remember, had me put on both pairs I had and watched me walk and ended up recommended a narrow width instead of the regular I have been wearing.

I bought a pair and it is so much better I could cry. I was getting ready to call the doctor to go find out why my brace wasn't working as well anymore. It isn't the brace, the shoes...

Best shoe buying experience ever! I have a hard time finding shoes that don't hurt my feet. I went into this store dreading looking for shoes and thinking even if I find some, I probably won't like them after a couple of days. I was greater when I walked in and asked if I was looking for something specific. All I said was shoes and kept going. He (I'm sorry I can't remember names very well) asked if I needed assistance I thought about it and said sure, thinking I wasn't going to find something that would work. He had me take my shoes off and walk up and down the isle then measured my feet. After he went to the back, he came back out a minute later with a few options. They were all comfortable, each more comfortable than the last. He was very patient with me and I ended up with 2 pairs of shoes. I should've listened to him and got a 1/2 size up in one of them cause I ended up bringing the one pair back to get the next size up. I've had both pairs of shoes for a few weeks now and they are still comfortable and my feet don't hurt! I highly recommend this...

I came in to buy a pair of shoes and hoped the salesperson would help me learn about what was new on the market. Instead, I got someone who had to show off how much he knew about running shoes and had to work around his ego to get what I was looking for. When I said I was looking for a hybrid road/trail shoe, I was met with the response “that’s simply not a thing. Are you actually running on trails?” Condescending with a side of arrogance. Thanks. When I said I used to own a pair of Altra Instincts, he must have felt threatened because he felt the need to interrupt me with “Altra doesn’t have a pair of shoes called that.” Yet that’s what my shoes were called, and a quick google search could prove that. And when I left the store with exactly what I came for, a pair of shoes which could be acceptable on both Road and Trail, it was in spite of this store’s customer service, not because of it.
