So I went into here this evening and got a two meat plate. I figured I would also want to soda, and when the cashier said the total, she read it to be over $20. I looked up in astonishment and asked, “how much is that drink,” to which she replied, “$3.50.” Now, I understand meat prices fluctuating in accordance to demand and supply, however, i can’t see any restaurant, besides those of the Highlands or downtown, to ask that much for a fountain drink. I’m eating as I’m typing this and it’s really really good, and what makes it better is: upon my realization of my total, and subsequent deduction of the drink I initially wanted, the cashier was kind enough to give me a drink, so as to keep my total below $20. She concurred with me in that it is kind of a lot for just one person to feed(myself), and with a mutual understanding, I left a couple dollars that I hope reaches her faster than whatever franchiser decided to make a fountain drink that much. I appreciate y’all’s work and am grateful to have the funds to eat in a moderately healthy sense. So, thank you.

So good!! I came for the giant baked potato and I was not disappointed! Slow cooked potatoes are just so delicious! I got it with butter, cheese and chicken breast. The potato was great, there was so much sliced chicken! I think it was a whole breast. I paired it with a brisket slider which was also really good. I like using the original bbq sauce on the chicken and mixing some sweet and original for the beef. As well as delicious food I had really good service here. Everyone that helped me was very kind and welcoming and asked how I wanted my food made as well as sauces for the side. As soon as I walked in I was greeted, my food was made to order promptly and the cashier was very friendly asking about my day while my food was being made. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for quick and delicious BBQ, they have great daily specials!!

A few issues. 1) The portions are way too small to justify the price 2) The customer service is mediocre 3) The taste of the food itself is mediocre (with the exception being the fries, which are actually quite good) 4) The self serve BBQ sauce is either impossible to find in the shop or I am just blind 5) My order ended up being wrong; I asked for Turkey and sliced Beef Brisket on one of the sandwiches I ordered and instead got turkey and sausage 6) And worst of all, one of my Westerner sandwiches ended up having a large portion of its bread being moldy, which I didnt realize until I already ate about 90% of it (pictured) It had been a while since the last time I visited Dickeys, and honestly it's a shame how bad it was. I will not be returning. *Edit: I have since double and tripple checked, and the review is for the proper location*

My family has ordered a Cajun Turkey from Dickey's for the past 7 years. This year, I was astounded when I was handed a raw, partially frozen, and unseasoned turkey which I pre-paid $92 for [I could have gone to my local grocery store and bought the same thing for 1/3 the price]. The Cajun Turkey is typically injected with marinade and fried, and needs only reheating to serve. It's been this way for the past 7 years. I was told I need to speak to 'corporate' because this year they were told not to 'cook' them?!?! I am not prepared to deal with a completely raw turkey the night before Thanksgiving dinner. This is why I order the Cajun Turkey. I am beyond disappointed, and this is not the product I expected when I ordered. I feel deceived.

This is the first ever Google review I’ve ever written. We ordered delivery from Uber eats and they sent sent us literally raw chicken. When I called in and asked for compensation and how they can serve raw chicken, the guy who answered the phone said I have to take it up with Uber eats. I asked him if he’d like to see the chicken himself he said no. When asked for the manager he said he was the manager and I can take it up with corporate. No resolution of any sort or any help. Or any accountability at all. I ate into this and swallowed it. Rather than addressing the issue he was rude and tells me to take it up with corporate. I’m hoping I don’t get sick at this point.

This place is most certainly overpriced. I ordered a 'Texas Sized' sandwich, and what I got was probably sized for Rhode Island. You would get laughed at in Texas if the tiny sandwich I received was even your regular size, much less Texas Sized. The bread was also a bit hard. The brisket was dry, and could definitely use more fat for flavor. The potato salad was bland. Ive found more flavor in day old baked potatoes. The green beans were decent, but the pepper overpowered everything. I would have no problem with this place if their prices were better. Absolutely not worth the price tag. Their food is cafe quality at best.
