I tried this spot for the first time a couple weeks ago and was quite the hassle. I ordered about $65 worth of food at 130 pm on grubhub for pickup. Not delivery. When i arrive to pick up my order the cashier tells me the uber eats driver just picked it up. I tell him i ordered it for pickup on grubhub. They tell me to take it up with uber eats. I go home thinking maybe it was delivered but it was not. I go back a 2nd time and show cashier, waiter and cook the receipt and there mustve been a mistake. They tell me to come back in 1.5 hours as they are making bread and couldnt get my order ready...few sandwichs and a salad and hummus... i reluctantly come back almost 2 hours after ordering because me and my family had been waiting to eat... i had to explain the situation a third time to another employee who did not want to help me. Finally after other customers were noticing the issue they give me a bag of food. They assure me everything i ordered was there. I get home and half the order is missing and wrong. I call back again and they tell me that they ran out of chicken. The kid who answers apologizes and tells me to come back next week and he will hook me up.. Unfortunately someone stole my order and it was pretty obvious yet they just could not admit they made a mistake and just remake the order. Pretty...
Read moreQuiet little place. A “bistro” attached to a small market specializing in European foods, mostly prepackaged and heavy on the sweets and snacks. One isle has some nice looking bottled sauces and condiments - I’ll definitely be back to take a closer look! We had dinner of the chicken shawarma plate and the gyro plate. Both came with small salad, small hummus, sliced pita and rice underneath, all on the same plate. Gyro was very good, with lemony tzatziki sauce and flavorful rice. Hummus was excellent and the salad fresh. Shawarma was not quite as good, with a coating that aimed to be tasty but was more just effort. Service was attentive but laconic - not slow just the sense you were having a meal in their living room and they were wondering if you were going to leave before the game started. All in all a good meal with good, but awkwardly...
Read moreI could not be more thrilled that we found this place. I agree with another review that the owner (or the guy who works there) is absolutely the kindest person ever. We both had a Prosciutto Basil Sandwich - delicious!! We also got a Banitsa (I "think" that is what it is called) we got the meat one and we baked it for breakfast --- absolutely PHENOMENAL!! They make it fresh it's in the freezer section. My fiancé is German and he totally loved it. Please don't tell Germany. ;) I'm going back to get another one soon. Highly recommand paying a visit to this place. We also got other grocery items and they were all really...
