Jennifer has been wanting to try this place, for months. We've never been to Five Guys before, so this was an experience. If all you care about is "taste good", this may be your place. But if you care anything about calories and price...? When I protested the price, they said; Oh but we only use the freshest ingredients. But isn't that what we expect from restaurants?

When they called me to the counter to get the order, it was in a bag. I said "no, we're eating here". They said that they bag all orders to go. Woo hoo - the ambiance.

These are their bacon cheeseburgers. When I saw the prices and calorie count, I almost turned and ran out the door. $10.27 per burger and around 1024 calories for one! Just one "Regular Fries" was $5.18. Add a large soda and the total with tax was $31.01.

We wanted to order two fries, but with these prices, decided to share one. It was a good thing. There must have been a half pound of fries here. The photo was taken after we ate 2/3 of them. Whew... One thing was that it looked like the frying oil isn't changed daily. Freshest ingredients?

But if all you care about is taste, the fries tasted like the oil needed changing, and the burgers were great. It was all things considered, which lowered my...

We went to Five guys in Lakewood because we had seen something on TikTok about a grilled cheese cheese burger. So it was 8pm they close at 10pm. When we walked in there was 1 person behind the counter cooking. We stood at the register for almost five minutes until 2 more associates came from the back. I proceeded to order our food which was a grilled cheese cheese burger, a large fry, a small fry, a medium fountain drink and a milkshake oreo w/bacon, (don't judge until you've tried it) which came out to $36. Wow! It is now 8:38pm and they had already made the burger (which was still sitting on the counter) and the drinks but we were still waiting on the fries. Finally the beautiful woman I was with was fed up and she asked if she could have her burger because we needed to leave to make it to our destination on time. We got the burger and left, no fries, or refund. Every other customer there was waiting on fries ad well. Oh btw at that point there were at least 5 or 6 employees that miraculously showed up from the back. Shake was good but need wider straws, burger was good service...

Went to In and Out and you couldn't even get into the parking lot. Good on them, there is a reason people want their product. I only had 15 min to grab some lunch, so I decided it has been a minute since I have had 5 guys. 2 other clients were inside. I should have known at that point. To my surprise their burgers are $11.. I'm out of time so I order a Patty melt for $8 and a hot dog for $9 before tip. Whatever, im out of time. I ask for Jalapenos, tomato's and grilled onions on the patty melt. I order Onions and mushrooms on the hot dog. I get back to work and non of my request were completed. Not only did I have plain Menu items when my receipt showed the addons but now I had to eat plain very small menu items that I paid over $17 Dollars for.. No wonder there was no one at the restaurant during peak lunch hours. Disappointed with service and literally how much money you have to spend at this place. Save your money and go to In and Out where you can get 2 burgers...
