My fiance went to steilacoom, WA McDonald's. He ordered food. Came home, and our food was wrong. I called up and to let them know. They told me to bring back all the food. Just remind you. The person at 7:08pm in the drive thru DID NOT give us a receipt. I brought the food back with my fiance. Told them that the order is wrong, and I would like them to make it right, and to replace all of it. This was a 56.00 dollar order. The manager xiomara was only going to replace one meal. Out of 5 (meals)of us. I would have gotten one hot meal, and the rest cold. Also the fries were large, and I've worked at McDonalds before. They are supposed to fill the fry containers where the yellow strips do not show. I told xiomara. You know what. Just refund back my money. She said, you can't unless you have a receipt. Remind you! I said at the start of this paragraph. The employee DID NOT provide us with a receipt. Xiomara shut the drive thru window on me and my fiance. Absolutely REFUSED to give me my money back! Why would I take the time to bring back food I didn't want? Xiomara made it seem like me and my fiance were lying. We knew what time we came in. Brought the food back that wasn't touched. Gave the EXACT total! I had to go inside, and beg for my money back! Xiomara knew she was wrong to slam the drive thru window on us. As soon as I walked in xiomara told one of her employees to record me! Xiomara called the cops on me.(Which these officer's said it was RIDICULOUS for her to call them over something so stupid and small)For what? Xiomara also told me to shut up. This is what you have in charge? As customers! We are always right! For her to refused to give my money back, because the employee did not give us a receipt! Really hurt my feelings, and gave such a bad name for this location! I am extremely upset! After 20-30 minutes of her refusing to give my 56.00 back. Xiomara finally gave my money back! I went outside, and talk to the cops to let them know. I did not threatin any of those employees or attend to damage anything. Xiomara was so ready to take 56 bucks out of my pocket and food for my family tonight. I hope you guys hold her accountable for what she did! And what I had to do and take me out of my character! 56...
Read moreThe drive-thru staff in the afternoons is always nice and quick. They get my food out super fast. The inside is always incredibly clean. I have been ordering here for a long time and always appreciated the hard work and speed of all the workers here!
So I am not sure what happened. I ordered at work via app. I planned to grab the food during my break and have tome to relax. I ordered a chicken sandwich meal with a caramel Frappe. I chose counter pickup.
I get there, and there is no food and a large line. I wait about 3 minutes and ask about my order. Gentleman says he will look into it. He goes to the back and asks. A different person asks to see my order. I show them. She tells me, "It's the wrong day." I am still confused about what exactly that means. So I figured the app did not register me purchasing anything. I walk outside.
Check my email, and they DID charge me for the meal. I walk back in and show my email receipt. Again, they don't have it and say they will make it. I waited the duration of my lunch break, and finally, a manager decided to chime in and ask. I explained the situation, and she says "they will start making it now." I explained that I had to go. She then said she could give a refund. I stand at the kiosk, and she then asks what I ordered. I should have just lied and said I bought over 300 mcchickens. But I didn't.
So I literally had to go back to work. I am short the money still. So I called and asked for a refund. They said I have to be there in person. It's funny because I ordered on the app, but okay.
I did a final update because I recieved an email confirmation that my order was canceled and it will take 5-15 business days for the money to return.
McDonald's is a massive corporation and they can afford to send me my money immediately. 5-15 days is a slap...
Read moreThis happened at about 10 PM night shift, I came in and ordered food with my family, 10 minutes later a man comes in holding a burger and asking for the manager(Alex) he said that his small daughter was eating the burger and he noticed it was raw and red inside when she already ate half, the manager said it happened before, the man proceeded to ask for a new cooked burger...while it was being made, the worker making it made a joke saying very loudly(enough for us,the customers to hear) " This time I'll make the burger more raw!" And laughed. The main customer with the problem and us other customers did not think this was funny. After the customer left I approached the manager and asked how long this has been the problem, how many complaints were made and what they will do to make it better, The manger answered :" This has been going on for quite a while, many complaints were made of raw burgers and meat, she then answered we now check the burgers after cooking to make sure they are safe because our grills are old and have been on and off working" The McDonald's itself has dirty tables,full trash bins, and I also found a hair in my burger as I was trying it...fully lost my appetite and we all left. Good customer service from two of the ladies and a good response from the manager, Unsafe to eat due to not meeting correct cooked temperature standards reminding of existent E-Coli in raw...
