The older lady who works the drive thru late night is so unpleasant. I don’t usually write reviews at all but as someone who works in hospitality, I just can’t believe how often she complains about other guests. As I was ordering (with my modifications) she cut me off and said “medium or large?” I said “medium with a coke” She then said “and how did you want that?” Well if you didn’t cut me off when I was talking, you would have heard me say no pickles and I wouldn’t have had to repeat myself. I ordered sweet n sour sauce with my meal and when I got to the window she informed me that they charge for sauce now, and I said that’s totally fine. She then proceeded to tell me 3 separate occasion where customers “yelled” at her for charging them for sauces.. one being the person who was directly in front of me. If she talks about them like that, god knows how she’s speaking about me to the person behind me. I’m not kidding you, EVERY SINGLE TIME I go through this drive thru and she’s working, she is complaining about something. This is not an isolated situation, its every single time she’s working. If it’s not complaining about customers, its about how tired she is and how she’s ready to go home. I get it, people get overworked, have bad days, and deal with unpleasant customers more often than not (like I said, I work in the same industry so I know first hand how unpleasant people can be) but I would NEVER complain to my guest about other guests, or just anything in general. It’s gotten to the point where this is one of the only places open when I get off late, and I just need a quick bite to eat.. and I would rather starve than deal with this lady. Please get a new job if you can’t at least be decent to your customers. If you’re having a bad day, please take into consideration that your customer might ALSO BE HAVING A BAD DAY. DONT MAKE YOUR PROBLEMS SOME ONE ELSE’s. Next time I’m not...
Read moreVulnerable, helpless, drowning in nothingness. Much like a nightmare where "waiting" was the narrative of punishment. Even my coke soda didnt have enough caffeine to save me. Eternity passes as I witness others achieving results due to the lack of capacity and over staffing with I as an exception. I awaken with anxiety while having trouble trying to decipher its code or if one should translate that dream as a metaphor or interpret its literal meaning, respectively. Perhaps, the lesson is practicing "patience" with others despite watching processes failing to produce results. I came to a conclusion the labor force must fit the scheme or system otherwise they won't reach their goal. The modern service industry no longer grasps the concept of "Time is money" and "customer service" because it's evident fast food restaurants like this particular location values personal conversation between workers, versus a customer's needs. The 15 minute wait was unacceptable especially considering how empty the dirty lobby was. Over staffing and poor scheduling abilities slowed productivity whereas the lack of leadership guidance and managerial oversight was the result of dangerously slippery restroom floor, an empty straw dispenser and employees failing to meet McDonald's own mask wearing mandate. Alternatively, the sandwiches were fresh and juicy and were handled with care which distracted me from reality. Gone are the days where service trumps product; and where treating the internal and external customers with respect while providing the needs and wants was ultimately first priority- not profit. The small things matter in this industry, and it begins with wiping the...
Read moreWorked here from September to October. Dont think I was ever treated fairly to be honest. They put me in the window first day with no training, expecting me to know my job. It was never teamwork we all had to work for ourselves. The management (Specifically Angela) was rude, uncaring and all the other managers would get an attitude and get irritated with you when things weren't going smoothly. I frequently no call no showed because the harm the managers were doing to my mental health and working there for 13.50 was not worth it considering I was NEVER paid the right amount for what I worked. Im so glad I got away from the food industry. Im surprised I made it past the 1 month mark at this mcdonalds.
I often come here for my food some days as its centrally located and it still takes me 20 to 25 minutes to get my food. Amd thats SITTING IN THE LOBBY. The other day it took customers to get their orders in 5 minute intervals as the front end would just leave. Even at that they never gave any of us our receipts so we didn't know what food was ours. I left saying "Bye Guys have a good day" and the horrible customer service showed when I was ignored. EVEN WHEN I WORKED HERE ID BE NICE TO EVERY CUSTOMER. In my opinion this restaurant should be closed. Its also very unsafe as they've had multiple covid cases in the restaurant and the workplace around the food is also dirty.
Manager in training would be passing around her dab pen for her friends to use and is that really how Mqnagers are supposed to act? Sadly Google Reviews won't let you post with 0 stars. I hope I shed light on the operations and management in...
