The burger was ok, it was quite small and completely unseasoned. For $15 I expect a 1/2# burger minimum, and to specifically mention it is seasoned when it was absolutely not is a little ridiculous. It was just a step above a fast food burger, like if McDonald's used actual ground beef. The waffle fries were chewy and old, they had sat under the heat emitters for way to long. Sad thing is the place was completely dead, and there's absolutely no reason they should have been using fries that had been sitting for so long. I get what slow nights in the restaurant are like, but that really means everything should be so much better as they aren't struggling to juggle multiple tickets at once. I'll give two service stars because they were open late and everything was ready on time, but keep in mind this isn't reflective of front of house staff only the kitchen staff as we didn't dine in. The food wasn't disgusting or inedible, but the fries were almost there. The biggest issue was the prices were insanely high for the quality and servings. Again we didn't dine in so no real opinion on the atmosphere, it was dark and quiet (which I much prefer over loud and flashy bars) but it was also completely dead on a Sunday evening so that makes sense. All and all, I may go for drinks as it's right next to the apartments at some point but almost certainly will get...
Read moreWhen you work in the industry you “get it,” with many things, and showing up 15 minutes before the kitchen closes isn’t always the best time to show up. Initially I was denied my life altering pickle chips and I was….Depressed…. Anxious…. I had lost the will to live.
HOWEVER!!! *the owner (or someone of tremendous power) stepped in and had chosen to help multiple starving homeless (okay not homeless but felt like it) individuals out that had requested late night food.
As a first timer: THANK YOU. I live right around the corner so I was hoping I could annoy you as much as I do China Express because they are amazing.
Appreciated the last minute decision to keep the kitchen open for a lover of pickles.
Beer: $8 Pickles: $6
A couple suggestions? Dart board. I usually am a solo traveler and not huge on playing pool by myself. (But I’ll do cricket solo).
The waffle fries next to me that were also ordered last minute looked delicious and the bartender who described the “orange Tang” sort of wings made me wish I had ordered them.
Thanks again!

Read moreFirst off I must say that this is the FIRST time my food has looked like the photo advertised which is a great thing! Our food was DELICIOUS! The burger was fresh with fresh ingredients on it and seasoned well. The waffle fries are cooked with a softer crunch which I loved. The bun was soft and next time I have to add the bacon. Next up is the Wilson sandwich. Portion size was good. I would definitely order all things again and again. That Dr. Pepper sauce was the highlight and then the flavor of that bacon was the cherry on top. Trying the wings next as we will be back as this was our first time taking a gamble on this spot. Can’t give a rating for anything inside like service, atmosphere as we ordered...
