Oscar's Pizza ( Lakewood, OH ) — Restaurant in Lakewood

My husband & I tried Oscars for the 1st time tonight after it was recommended by Scott Nixon, who is a food blogger on social media. My husband and I are always looking for new places to try. I have to say, everything was delicious! I absolutely love pizza and it's my favorite food! So I am very picky when it comes to pizza. Lol It had the right amount of sauce, cheese, pepperoni, and sausage. And don't get me started on the wings!!!! My husband said these were the best wings he's had in awhile! 🤤🤤🤤🔥🔥🔥 We got the spicy buffalo ranch dry rub wings. They were cooked to perfection, crispy, and so delicious! We got the tenders for my 2 year old and he loved them. The only small complaint I had was it was only 3 tenders in the order for almost $8. Possibly adding 1 or 2 more would do. Still tender and juicy. Other than that, no other issues or complaints! Customer service was good as well! The lady that helped me when I walked in was welcoming and very nice! We will be back! Normally Oscars is one of my favorite places to grab a pizza but tonight ordered through slice and what I received was nothing like the standard of the dozen other pizzas I’ve gotten from there in the last 6 months.

So at first my pie was a weird shape, that’s because the pieces looked as if they were from other pizzas made previously, fit together the best they could and covered in cheese to hide it. The crusts were all different colors and the whole pizza was greasy like it has been sitting.

I called up about 10 minutes after I got it and told them my concerns about the pizza being old and put together from different slices, I was literally laughed at! I was told that they are “bad at cutting pizzas” and that’s why it looked like that. Pretty ridiculous.

Look, this is the first time I’ve ever had any issue but every time from now on I will be picking up and checking my pizza...

Consistently excellent pizza and calzones. Ive been ordering from Oscars quite often the last 4 months and not one time did it disappoint. I personally love Calzones and I would say Oscars zone is the best in the area. 10/10 I'm a fan for sure!

The menu is small but packs a massive punch of flavor all around. You will notice a comment that they make their dough fresh daily on the menu, and you can taste it. Aside from their creative specialty pizzas you won't see any reinventing of the wheel, but a selection the pizza lords at Oscars chose, stuck with, and simply do it crazy good.
