Stinkin Crawfish of Lakewood — Restaurant in Lakewood

Our server was great she was attentive and made sure we were taken care of. The place is in a plaza and it is very quiet and peaceful. The inside is small, I can see where it would be a problem when at full capacity because there is one aisle that leads to the tables and entrance and exit. The table and seats were dirty and dusty and I had to wipe them down before I can sit down (mind you we got there when the place first first opened and were the second people in there).When we sat down after about 5 minutes I saw ants on the table and the paper they put down for us to eat.I told the server and we moved to another table.The floors were sticky everywhere and I could see dried up soda on the floor. All while I was eating I can feel ants crawling over me and 2 of them were in my drink and I drank most of it before I discovered it. I told the sever and she gave me another drink.The food was ok I ordered the mozzarella sticks which were good, the parmesan wings were great, the hush puppies where not good, the texture was grainy like sand with soft dough on the inside that tasted like Jiffy bread corn mix. I ordered the Stinkin combo spicy with garlic butter sauce. The spicy flavor amped up the seafood the garlic butter was a bit greasy and messy. Some of the shrimp tasted bad and so did some of the crawfish. The potatoes were plain and soft and hard at the same time. The mussels were great the clams were ok except half of them were just shells with no meat. The sausage and corn were great, I actually want a bag of sausage in spicy sauce 🤤. The fried oreo dessert was ok the oreo was fried kind of hard like it was petrified, the ice cream scoop was very tiny. Overall they need to clean that place with hot soapy water and bleach and it's a huge turn off to arrive to a restaurant when its first opened and its dirty as though they did not clean up at night. I wanted to share a 5 ⭐️ on this restaurant.

1.) I absolutely love there seafood here it is always so fresh,hot the sauce is so juicy here. Especially there shrimp’s it’s so big and they don’t use small shrimps either the butter and the Cajun sauce is the best. Esp dipped with lots of lemon,salt and pepper. There’s not one dish that we ordered that we didn’t like we love it here! Even tho we live in Alhambra we rather drive to our favorite place when it comes to seafood boil!

2.)The Staff here is very attentive and very helpful to everything I mean without even asking for a drink they can see that your drink is getting half way before asking if we needed another drink. Very friendly staff and very accommodating to my sons needs as he is a very wild child but they do also stop and play with him I love how friendly they are.

3.)I love how clean they are here are also everything is wiped down before being seated. Not just a fast wipe down but nice and clean one. Not but not least we save our stomachs for DESSERT and it’s the best to finish dinner.

The food was extremely salty (Suggestion: Use unsalted butter when adding extra seasoning) And for 36 dollars a pound for snow crab, atleast make sure that your distributor is selling you crab legs with meat in them. (Otherwise we're paying for shells) Wait service was poor and it wasn't even crowded. The person that brought our food out, just dropped the bag on the table and told us to ask our server for any condiments that we made need. No lemon, butter, crab crackers, bibs, Nothing. Took almost 10 mins to get the servers attention for these items. Complained about the saltiness of the crab legs, (Although all of it was extremely salty) They did cook us more crab. These weren't as salty but just as empty as the others. My wife thought the food smelled off. 120.00 later we left with the food (I couldn't eat it due to saltiness and she thought it smelled spoiled) In the trash it went.
