Valentino’s Pizza Lakewood — Restaurant in Lakewood

This place is absolutely ridiculous!!! I do deliveries & this place ALWAYS pops up under a night under some “ghost” name so you’ll be driving around looking for something that IS NOT THERE!! It makes no sense at all to call the restaurant another name, then refer to it as a “ghost” restaurant, seriously are you kidding me?? Also they need to STOP ALLOWING ORDERS TO COME IN AT NIGHT WHEN THE RESTAURANT IS CLOSED!!!!!!!! MULTIPLE orders are being accepted while the employees are closing the store & literally driving away to go home!! It is extremely frustrating/annoying for delivery drivers who waste their time driving to a closed place AND customers who wait just to have their orders cancelled & they probably won’t be able to find anything else so late!!! Absolutely RIDICULOUS. I called support to report this restaurant & while doing so I seen 4 PEOPLE pull to the CLOSED restaurant, having to drive away with their time wasted!! Decided to check these guys out since I haven't been able to find Detroit style pizza anywhere in LA that was worth it.

Ordered online, walked in early. The inside is pretty bare bones but not unusual for a pizza joint. Owner was nice enough to apologize for the wait even though I told him I was early.

Ordered a 4 corner meat lovers. Man this pizza was fantastic. My only problem is that the last time I had really good Detroit style pizza I was in my 20s and it didn't come with heartburn. The sauce was authentic, the cheese was plentiful and the crust was perfection.

I'd say I'd order again all the time, but after a small meat lovers I was sweating all over. If this pizza ends up killing me, it'd be worth it though. 5/5...

I ordered pizza tonight because I’ve heard so many great things about this place. Let me start off with price, I ordered an extra L pepperoni pizza, 1 sandwich and a 2 liter, we paid 60+. We get our food and it’s super cold and the sandwich is soggy… most likely because our order was almost 15 mins late(it gives a time) and to be honest I really don’t know what the rave is about because it tastes like DiGiorno’s frozen pizza.
