100% FRESH SUBS & SALADS — Restaurant in Lakewood

This place is literally a little hole in the wall shop located across from the Long Beach Town Center. Once I saw the place, I wasn't too hopeful. The employee that helped me was very friendly and helpful. This place is still using plastic barriers and customers aren't yet allowed in the shop. So I placed my order and waited outside. The employee went in the back and I could hear her assembling my order. A few minutes later, she handed me my order. My wife ordered the Italian sub and I ordered the Chicken House Salad. The old saying "looks can be deceiving" applies to this place because my wife's sandwich was absolutely delicious. It was on a fresh baguette and the ratio of bread to filling was great. This wasn't a typical sub sandwich where the bread is so thick that it over powers the filling. The baguette was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The Chicken House Salad was simply Romain, cucumbers and roasted chicken, but it too was delicious. Do yourself a favor and check this place out, it really is...

Just tried this place for the first time and it was so good. We got chicken Cesar salads and smoothies. The chicken was like rotisserie and really good not like you usually get (cold breast sliced). The dressing was really tasty. The smoothies were delicious and they gave us soup and cake samples. I don't like tomato soup typically but I would definitely order a bowl of this in the future. The cake was moist and not overly sweet. Everything tasted super fresh like I made it at home so the place has a great name. The people that work there were very nice also. Fast and friendly service. Ordered a Combo with the Turkey Club and a Green Smoothie. Everything was made fresh. The sandwich had the perfect amount of ingredients, and they didn't overdo the garlic aioli.
