Barnyard Buddies — Local services in Lakewood

We had the best time celebrating my daughter’s bday. Randi the owner of Barnyard buddies and her staff were amazing! Randi was on top of all my emails and answering all my questions and the staff the day of were super helpful not just with me but with my party of about 80!

I would 100% recommend booking them for your parties! A few helpful tips for large parties and if you want to have a larger scale setup as we did I would recommend booking both time slots for your event, that way you have time to set up and not rushed. I would also rec spending the extra $35 on the private pony for your party. It’s not much extra and makes a HUGE difference! They get busy on the weekends and with the short window you don’t want your guests spending unnecessary time waiting in line with everyone to ride the pony.

The only con I can think of is that they close so early. My family is never on time so 5pm was a pretty quick window for us after all that planning. If there was a way to extend the party hours I would love to know. I’ve seen they have hosted a night time event per their IG so maybe it’s something to investigate if you are looking to book.

Awesome place to go for animal lovers and families! My wife, daughter, and I went from 1pm to 3:30pm. Regular price was $6 per person but we found them on groupon for $11 for a party of 3. It's was $8 extra for a large cup of feed. A good amount for 3 to 4 people. We fed and pet the goats and many other animals. They have around 20 goats adult and babies. 6 sheep adult and babies. Also, ducks, chicken, and pigs. They even have a Llama! Nice hand wash station. They have a toddlers area with toys. For $8 extra my year old daughter got a pony ride with DOC the pony. Ally was our guide. She was amazing with an awesome smile and personality. We were able to pet and feed wonky the donkey. It was and awesome time. I really recommend them. They also have horses. Booked this company because of the reviews. I signed the contract on 7.16.23 with the details of the party and what I needed from them. I immediately sent the deposit to reserve my date, once both items were received the event was confirmed. The day before the event sent them a text to confirm, no response. The next day (event date 8.12.23) sent text no response, called the numbers on the contract and the number I had been communicating with, with no response. Long story short they never showed up. On Monday they acknowledge they didn't show up and would refund me the deposit. They never refunded my deposit.
