COPPER CUP — Restaurant in Lancaster

When Copper Cup opened, I feared it would become an upper-middle-class Third Space. Located comfortably across the street from a slightly swanky Montessori School & the apartment homes constructed in the historic Hamilton Watch Factory. The neighborhood on the other side of Copper Cup is considerably more variable & not at all swank. But it is interesting & a pretty fun place to take a walk, especially once you get on side streets. I haven't been to this CC location in quite some time, so I was curious to check it out again. I brought my two young sons in for a quick snack and coffee break. The service was really unfriendly and almost rude, possibly because I brought kids with me. What am I supposed to do, leave them in the car? Or go through the drive thru with my baby crying in the back seat?

I rarely ever go and get a nice coffee for myself, especially with how expensive everything is these days, and it was disappointing that I was treated in such an unhelpful and standoffish way. I also didn't see any high chairs to help contain my littlest, but I didn't feel like asking the baristas with the RBF.

The food and coffee were fine, but sadly the most memorable thing was the grumpy staff. It's possible I caught them in a bad moment or bad day, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend unless you're a WFH type who wants to work in a cool coffee...

I typically stop here because I like to support local and they have a drive through... Although I don't think that their coffee is that great, And they're overpriced in my opinion. Their selection is very limited they don't even have cold bree, Except in a can. Today I stopped and decided to get iced tea... I ordered the honey lavender fog without milk over ice.. The menu says 525 a large... That's deep but I understand. The very polite young woman over the speaker told me my total due with 650... 650 for a cup of tea.... I asked why it was different than the price on the menu she said there was an upcharge for the syrup.... The syrup that is listed in the item description on the menu.... Very disappointed that not only are their prices incredibly steep but also inaccurately listed. I'm afraid that would be my last visit to...
