A friend asked me to pick up 3 pizzas, 2 regular and one dessert pizza. He handed me 20 dollars. I drove there about 10 pm. The order total was $26.62 I think. I had some singles, but I was . 35 cents short.
The lady who was in charge said she couldn't accept a shortage. It was there policy.
So, I pulled up (no one was in line, shocker) and dug 35 cents up.
I then walked to the drive thru and waited. The lady looks around, saw me, and walked off. Another employee saw me, didn't move.
After about 5 minutes, she came to the window and I paid the total.
I went back to the house and delivered it. It was cold, naturally. Which, was my fault. I suppose....
I went by the location about a week later. The owner met me and I asked him to discuss the policy.
He will deny saying this, but he said the following things;
He didn't believe me.
He wouldn't hire me.
He had more business than he could handle.
He asked me to leave.
I asked if he taped his employees, and he said no.
I told him I had owned 2 restaurants, both which were pretty successful, in the 90's and early 2000's. One was Blue Hurricane, one was Palmetto Grill of Lancaster, LLC.
I said it made no sense to me to hold up a 26 dollar order over 35 cents in my opinion. I never asked for anything free.
I suppose he thought I was lying. Because he did in fact say "I don't know if I believe that or not."
He also said he wouldn't have visited the restaurants I owned, because he "wouldn't go to places like that."
One of my restaurants sold alcohol, the other didn't. So I don't know why he wouldn't go there. Maybe he's a God.
I then asked if he needed any help, because he had signs saying he did.
He said he wouldn't hire someone like me. Ok....
Which, is perfect for me.
I would never recommend this location to anyone.
I'm sure he will read this and answer with his computer generated answer. Or maybe he will not.
I really don't care. I'm just stunned that he has tons of business.
We are Lancaster.... Indeed.
I'd give it 0 stars if I could.
Rude, holier than thou attitudes and cold pizza.
Have a great day. I won't be coming back. Good luck, although you don't need my well wishes. Remember Mr. Owner?
Best wishes. I may open one of those. Sounds easy.
Serve inferior products, have weird policies, and treat customers badly who complain.
Because, I suppose, he simply doesn't care.
And, since he's the owner, he can.
Ok Russ. Your move.
Am I lying or are you?
Will he...

I seem to never learn my lesson when I order from this location because every single time it’s worse and worse. DO NOT TRUST THE TRACKER, when it says your order is ready-give it another 30 minutes because that’s how long you’ll be waiting for it to actually be available.
Tonight was by far the worst experience. I ordered my food an hour ahead because I knew it would take longer than stated. When I got to the store the extremely rude CSR asked my name as I was walking through the door and so I answered she said “I can’t hear you that far away-what is your name?” Ummmmm then let me get through the door before you ask my name!! She then points to the screen where my name is listed as “4 minutes left” okay cool, I’ll wait. My name then shows “now” which signals it’s ready. While walking to the front I see a young man cutting my pizzas(yes I know they are mine we get odd combinations of toppings) and so I see him stack my pizzas together and place them on the rack. The lady who I had the initial interaction with says to a boy who seemed to have been training “she’s good she’s waiting on her order” looks at me and goes “it’s almost done ma’am” I politely told the boy “you’re actually holding all of it right now”. The lady then yells over everything “ma’am I done told you to hold on- it will be ready in a minute!”
Ummm excuse me?? Rather than causing a scene the boy puts my order down, waits a solid 2 minutes. Stands doing NOTHING. Picks up my order then hands it to me while she says “idk if she even paid”.
I WILL NOT BE BACK. The lady who was working tonight-have the day...
Read moreUpdate! Most times we go to the reviews when things are bad. Today let me tell you I came to the reviews bc it was so great! The pizza tasted like it was made with love and it was absolutely amazing! The window was quick and friendly!
I hit recent order online. I apologize bc instead of a pan pizza we got hand tossed. I DO NOT have a problem paying for what I accidentally ordered, as u can see. However, I was on the phone when the girl at your drive thru was rude to my daughter who simply wanted to wait n speak with me and see what had happened. I have been a salary manager at a full service restaurant since 2005, and I can tell u that was unacceptable. Our fault or not, you should not be rude to a paying customer. Age discrimination is against the law. I had no problem telling her to take the pizza, it's okay. But to be treated the way she was, was not okay. Teach them better or find people to work for you that understands what customer service truly means. Had that been an elderly person as myself, i am sure the tone would have...
