My boyfriend & I went here on a Saturday night around 10pm. I already heard that the staff was very unprofessional but I had no idea it was to the extent We would experience this night. When we were parking I saw a woman outside drinking beer mingling with the casualties which I saw nothing wrong with it until I ordered a drink and that same woman was my server no less than 10 min later. Throughout the night I saw this woman casually drinking beer in between serving from the bar. Red flag #1. Shortly after my boyfriend went to the restroom where he was followed by a security guard by the name of RON. I thought my boyfriend was being paranoid until Ron came to our table & accused us of bringing in our own drinks. Ron then stated to us that he followed my boyfriend to the restroom for the safety of the customers in the restaurant. I was floored & demanded to speak to management and what topped it all off was the manager that came to our table turned out to be the lady that had been very unprofessional, rude, & who was outside drinking liquor, inside drinking beer, and who was my server BY THE NAME OF MIA WHO WAS SUPPOSEDLY MANAGEMENT. This isn't the first time in history someone has been followed and was unjustly killed! I will never come back to any of these franchises. Unprofessional, Prejudice management, security, & bartenders....
Read moreMy boyfriend & I, went to check it out for the first time & to watch the game on the big screen TV's. We were seated as soon as we entered & ordered right away. We ordered chips & salsa, shrimp ceviche, 2 shots of casa migos, mango margarita & mangorita. Great service when we dine in, but we asked to move to the bar. The waitress said she had to cash us out, before moving to the bar cause it was all separate & we said it was fine, we got the bill it was $98 +taxes & $10 tip.. We didn't even order a meal. They're expensive, it's ridiculous! I can order a meal, appetizers & drinks for $100 at a 4.9 star rooftop restaurant in downtown L.A, that's really fancy! We sat at the bar, the bartender passed us by 3 times & never asked if we wanted to order a drink. The waitress boss looked at us & walked away.. So we got up & we left. The bartenders are so rude!! They only deserve a 1 star or none at all really. It was our first & last time going there.. BTW, I've been to all 3 Medrano's in the Antelope Valley & all 3 Medrano's food, is basic, no flavor & a waste of...
Read moreWe visited Medrano's on a Wednesday late afternoon around 4:00. We were seated immediately and quickly greeted by a pleasant food server who took our beverage order. She was pleasant and attentive throughout our meal, returning to check on the table, ask if we needed anything, and refill our beverages. We ordered the special, which was tow combo plates for $25 that offered a choice of three items per plate (taco, burrito, tamale, enchilada, chili rellano) with rice and beans. Between the two couples who ordered the special, we ordered at least one of each of the choices on the combo, and all were satisfied. The special is not only a lot of food for $25, but it is good tasting food. All that said, one of the highlights of the meal was the chips and salsa. Their salsa is just that good! We thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and will look forward to a...
