La Bodega Meat Produce — Local services in Lancaster

So decided to go here for the first time got recommended by a family member so why not. At a first glance it is just off putting made me feel as if I was in a wrong location or maybe they closed down. Going inside was a similar experience very “bodega” like (hence the name) low very low traffic as it seems to be a hidden spot. To put this straight out there it is very sams club or cosco in the sense of being a meat place. If you sell or have a taco stand this will be a spot you would visit for meats in quantities or gallons of chilly or what not. That’s the best way I can put it into words it’s decent clean employees are respectable and professional don’t expect “commercial happy friendly” welcomes or help. They’ll be more then happy to help out very straight forward and that’s that. The meat it self was good better then what these other super grocery stories or supermarkets have in stock surprisingly. I only had meat not the chicken but might go back for more seems to be worth the visit price is as expected it varies but for me it was decent and worth it. I had a good experience overall just wish they had better lighting and possibly some employees doing something rather then standing waiting on you feels weird shopping around having someone stand there. Love the old throw back ice cream cart with clearly labeled prices they have a decent selection of sodas and meat however im not sure how there is zero air conditioning going on in here or how that's allowed by standard regulations typically a meat department is kept very cold this is room temperature at best maybe a few degrees below not an appealing aspect when meat is your selling point folks so shop at your own...

Not very friendly atmosphere. If you speak Spanish perhaps they are more responsive to you the meats are not that impressive and it was hard getting someone that you could speak to in English.not...
